This property had everything we could ever want or need. Flashlight and current info for exploring the national park, rain umbrellas, beach towels and chairs, coolers and so much more. The coffee and snacks were especially welcoming, as were the books and games. The property is gorgeous and the house is both well-crafted and inviting. Loved the porches and front and back. The bunk bed is probably the coziest and sturdiest we’ve ever encountered.

Lazy Lehua Cottage was perfect for our family of four! The place is immaculate and tidy, but also warm and inviting. We wished we could have stayed here for weeks. The covered porches were very relaxing to have a cup of coffee or breakfast. The girls enjoyed the bunk beds, and the upstairs bed was very comfortable. No air conditioning, but it was unnecessary, with cool nights and ceiling fans, the temp was always quite comfortable. Would recommend 100% and will hopefully be able to book again in the future!

We had such a lovely stay at Lazy Lehua. Someone in the guest book wrote that if the seven dwarfs cottage and the Swiss Family Robinson treehouse had a baby, Lazy Lehua would be it! Everything about the place is charming, well appointed, cozy, and perfect. We intended to stay near Volcano National Park and the location was perfect for that. I was celebrating my 65th birthday and the lovely extras provided for that went above and beyond. Thank you Jintana and Rebecca.

This place is spotless and comfortable. The location is incredible. We were busy and it was raining daily but I can imagine a day just relaxing, smelling the air and listening to the birds.

We loved our stay! We were so grateful for the stocked kitchen - coffee filters, olive oil, ziploc bags! - and for the extra touches and gestures of hospitality from the hosts. The covered porches were wonderful retreats after a day of exploring, and we loved that we were close enough to the national park to come home for meals, since food options were limited in the area. Beautiful home and garden, ideal stay - my kids said "the best we've ever stayed in!"

What a delight to wake up the first morning and look out the windows! We had arrived after dark and had only a vague impression of the surrounding rain forest! Magnificent only partially describes the place. Our hostess, responded immediately to any notes we sent, even though she was on vacation herself. The housekeeper, Rebecca, was amazing in assuring we were fully informed about local activities..

Perfect Volcano Cottage

Clean, comfortable, & well stocked, we felt like we were staying in a cottage owned by family. Fantastic location for visiting Volcano National Park. Would definitely want stay there again.
