We loved staying here. The house is adorable. Great comfortable beds and a nice kitchen. The highlight is the wrap around deck. Our kids loved wondering around the yard and listening to the birds. It's also a great location near Volcano National Park.

The description of the house is accurate. A clean and comfortable house in a peaceful setting. The kitchen is well equipped. In addition, there are restaurants conveniently located in Volcano. Easy and quick access to Volcanoes National Park.

We LOVED our stay here! Absolutely everything you could possibly need for your stay. Cozy and very well appointed. Peggy was very responsive to questions and communication was breeze. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Our only regret was not staying longer! The coffee and fresh fruit was much appreciated too! :-)

Fantastic setting and certainly offering the opportunity to be one with nature in the natural jewel of volcano. Host was great and the kitchen and baths were very well stocked. Fireplace was inoperative foreclosing a night around the fireplace. Do ensure you get the WiFi password and entry code in advance as once at the property the cellar coverage makes for a very slow if at all access via the app. Fresh tropical fruit was a very nice touch.The tropical birds will visit on the lanai to cap off the nature surroundings.

Outstanding stay and highly recommend this private retreat near Volcano National Park! The owner handled all communications with quick responses. Everything needed is provided and we appreciated all the thoughtful details.

This was a beautiful home and the beds were very comfortable :) Kitchen well stocked and we were very comfortable. Peggy was excellent communicator. We will come back again.

This is a beautiful, comfortable home that blends seamlessly into the rainforest. The enormous windows provide an astonishing view of hapu'u ferns, anthuriums, 'ohi'a lehua, beach naupaka, and other tropical plants. We saw beautiful birds, including some colorful Kalij pheasants. The home is decorated with lovely artwork that celebrates the rainforest and volcano (and Pele!). The beds are comfortable. The host is very friendly and welcoming. It only takes a couple of minutes to drive to Volcanoes National Park. We hope to return one day! Bring a light rain jacket and warmer clothes for the park.

Yes to both. Rooms were spotless, host was wonderful, sitting outside on the veranda listening to the wildlife was fantastic. We'd love to come back!
