Nicol is posting this review in retribution for not being refunded the cost her stay. It is easy to see her motives behind the poor review. They arrived at the house at 2:00 PM, and partied all day long in the private pool area. Suddenly at 10:00 PM, they discovered insects inside the house. Our security sensors indicated they had left the door and sliding glass door open the whole time during the day, and anyone who know anything about bugs, if you leave doors or windows open, and lights are on in a house, insects will come inside. Especially in Florida in the summertime where insects are plentiful. For the claims of insect traps, yes, we do have them for the exact reason of this guest. The community has outside pest control, and we pay for inside pest control through Massey, one of the largest control companies in Florida. The traps are preventative in case insect do get inside of the house, which can happen when doors are left open, and especially if food is left out to entice insects inside with the smell of it. With this guest, both of those things occurred. For the claims of the mattress, if this guest found bugs at 10:00 PM and decided they didn't want to stay at the house, why would they be tearing beds and bedding apart unless they had already used them and someone had an accident? After Nicol and her party left, our cleaning company came to the house the next day and discovered the urine stains on the bed were very fresh, and adult sized. The stains came out of the bedding easily and immediately, which would not happen unless they were freshly made. The mattresses and covers have since been replaced as well. I don't exactly know what Nicol and her bachelorette were doing inside the house. As she wrote, they were having a party there, and clearly drinking was involved. You can make your own assumptions as to the type of guests Nicol and her party were.
