Lovely house, inside and out, and we were immediately comfortable here. The kitchen is well equipped and everything guests might need is nicely laid out and well thought out. Laundry setup, wifi and heating/cooling, tvs, etc. are self explanatory and it felt like home right away. The experience comes across as a lovely primary home rather than a typical rental feel. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

Great home in a charming neighborhood!

Beautifully renovated, clean and nicely appointed two-story home in a charming Crystal Lake neighborhood. Wonderful gathering spaces on the main floor, three nice sized bedrooms on the second floor, with comfortable king beds. Nice private backyard, with fire pit and off street driveway parking.

This house was absolutely beautiful, well furnished and cozy. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe. It was perfect to keep the wedding party together and as a group of people who love cooking, having a fully stocked kitchen(pots pans and the like) was so appreciated! There was plenty of room for everyone to be together and even have some alone time when needed. The fire pit in the back and outdoor furniture was a great way to spend the autumn nights and the backyard was clean and comfortable.

Great place for a family get-together!

We really enjoyed this property for our Christmas get-together. Very nice older home that has been well maintained. Beds were comfortable and the downstairs bathroom was perfect. The yoga room was a nice touch and was used as well. Very close to downtown and shopping and the large dining room table accommodated our family for meals and game playing. Host was very responsive to our questions as well. We would definitely recommend this home!

We loved this house! Beautiful, charming home with modern touches. Good location and home was equipped with everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable. Layout worked great for a multi-generational family of 5. Three bedrooms and one bathroom are located on top floor. The 2nd bathroom was in the basement, which wasn't ideal, but it's large and beaufully remodeled and we didn't mind walking down the two flights of stairs. Host was responsive.

Beautiful home

Absolutely beautiful home- spacious, airy, tall ceilings. We had a wonderful stay. Very child friendly - stair gates, kiddy plates, books and games. That was such a thoughtful touch. Was wonderful to have such a great sized yard for the kids to play in. Location fabulous. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need for cooking family meals. Enormous washer and dryer in basement was very useful. From a small kids point of view the only extra thing that would have been amazing was black out drapes/ blinds in one of the bedrooms but we brought our own. Such a minor minor point and didn’t affect our stay at all just would have been the cherry on an already frosted cake! Thank you for letting us stay. We will definitely be back.

What a spectacular house for a multi-generational vacation! Plenty of bedrooms. Plenty of bathrooms. Full laundry. The home was fully setup and ready to go to host a large group like ours. We traveled with my parents, in their 70s, and our four kids ranging from 8 yo-21 yo. The house is beautifully appointed; gorgeous understated decor, lovely inviting beds, and helpful modern amenities like celling fans in every bedroom and all the critical necessities to cook full meals in the pristine and updated kitchen. The house does not have central air, but with powerful window units in every room, we never noticed. It's clear this charming, classic home has been thoughtfully and intentionally updated for every modern comfort and amenity. All the appliances, windows, blinds, washer/dryer, and tvs were all newer.Every bedroom is equipped with its own smart tv, so when people needed time to get some space and recharge, it was very easy to do.The backyard space was perfect for our crew to have a fire one of the nights. And we found it easy to have a game night in the enclosed back porch while others had a movie night in the front living room. There was space for everyone! The electronic locks were a breeze to use and made it simple for my elderly parents to get in without worrying about keeping track of a key. Every time we thought we needed something, all we had to do was look, and the hosts probably had it available. All in all, a phenomenal experience!

We absolutely loved everything about our stay at this lovely cottage! The kitchen had everything we needed for our family meals and the beds were so comfortable. It truly felt like heaven to enjoy our morning coffee on the back patio, listening to a symphony of birds! Our host, Brent, communicated well with us. And we will definitely rent this cottage again when we visit family in the future. Highly recommended!
