The cottage was clean, with a well equiped kitchen, and plenty of extra linens. The bed mattresses are firm, good for those with bad backs. We appreciated that the owner provided timely responses to our questions. With a good view of the lake, the deck is a great spot to sit in the afternoon and relax. Lakeview retreat is an excellent place for easing out of the normal hectic routine.

Life is good by the lake

It was our first time renting a house. We had a great time and we were so pleased at how clean and well maintained the house was. Our vacation was too short and would love to come back next year.

Two night respite

Relaxing stay in a tranquil setting. Cozy family room with a view of the lake. Great for drinking coffee, reading and watching movies. The cottage was rustic with lots of character. The host was very responsive, and permitted a later checkout time. Overall, very satisfied with this accommodation, and would highly recommend.

Our stay was wonderful. The home was inviting and very homey. We stayed during the off season with a toddler so we stayed in most of the time but there was a basket full of brochures if we wanted to go out. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils/pots/pans. The water pressure was awesome. The game selection was top notch. The beds were comfortable. The friendly neighborhood deer were fun to watch play in the yard.

Cozy and Relaxing Stay

We had a really great stay at Kevin's lake property. We went with another couple we are friends with and were looking for a quiet, relaxing weekend away from the city. That is exactly what we got! The property was exactly like the pictures and we felt right at home. There were trails very close by which we loved and the view of the lake across the street was gorgeous. Would definitely come back and stay again!
