- the information/instructions sent were for a different property so we had to figure a lot out by ourselves- the property is very “dated” and in poor condition … very dirty carpet, widows that don’t open, broken cabinets etc.- game room is mostly unusable … pool sticks have no tips, table felt is torn, games on wall are missing pieces, basketball game has broken electric cord etc.- grill has burners that do not operate properly- kitchen is not equipped for a family. No serving ware at all. No platters, no large bowls, no serving utensils, etc.Family will come to Big Boulder Lake next summer but will certainly not stay at this property again.

We knew this guest will not be satisfied with even staying at Ritz Carlton. I should have rejected their reservation the moment I realized they are too cheap & trouble.

Clean, great location, great amenities, great location.

We had such a great week! You can tell the owner takes pride in the house. It smelled so good and was clean when we walked in. The hot tub was a great added bonus. The lake is beautiful and there was so much to do.
