Located in Monkey Island, this marvelous house offers 3 bedrooms with a variety of sleeping arrangements including a king bed, queen bed, bunk bed, and twin bed. The property features 2 bathrooms with a bathtub and shower, perfect for guests to relax and unwind.
With amenities like a private dock, deck with outside dining area and large sectional, WiFi, AC, and a washing machine, your stay will be nothing short of excellent.
Recharge and have fun with the whole family at this lakefront retreat with quick and easy access to the Monkey Island trail . Only a 5 minute drive to the Anchor or nearby restaurants and bars. Golfers will have their choice of several world-class Shang-ri-la courses. Note: The docks covered slip is occupied with owners boat however the sun deck has cleats and bumpers to tie off your boat.

Clean rooms and comfortable beds, great communication with host, hot tub was awesome after long day of work, fully furnished kitchen, we lacked nothing. Plan to book again next year.

Peaceful lakefront house with wonderful views and dock. Clean and well taken care of. Kids loved the hot tub too. My only complaint is the water pressure is very low, so we couldn’t take 2 showers at the same time. Would definitely book again!

It was perfect for a weekend getaway the host was responsive and the house was well provisioned. The bed was comfortable. The record player was a nice touch you just don't get that sound out of digital. The hot tub could have been a little cleaner. Overall we had a great time.

House was clean but when we booked it, it didn’t say anything about the owners boat being on the dock nor did the photos show it. Now that it is summer their boat is there and the listing has changed to say it will be. Door lock didn’t work upon arrival but after 10 minutes we got it figured out. Queen and king beds were quite hard and the king frame was extremely loud. Boat dock was constantly covered in spiders and the property had a lot of flying bugs around. Cool thing was the foxes that greated us when in the hot tub. Bad thing was hot tub was just too hot to soak in so only feet could be put in. Tight and narrow one lane roads and the ramp was extremely difficult to navigate. For the really bad news. If you have a boat it was very difficult to get in and out of this property due to a neighbor. He has metal blocks preventing anyone from coming near his property and he parks his trailer and truck in the road partially to block you in. He then also mows at 8:30 every evening to where you cannot enjoy the sunset because there’s dust everywhere making it impossible to sit outside. We also did not care much for the travel trailers and the way they dumped their septic on the one side. I get that it is attached to the septic line with a hose but it was still gross. Would not book again.

I’m sorry to hear you had trouble with your stay. We’ve had fifteen 10/10 reviews so far and always strive to make each guests stay wonderful. I know it was frustrating when you asked to cancel a few weeks before your stay and were unable to receive a 100% refund. Hopefully this isn’t your motivation for such a harsh review.
For clarity, our home has always been listed with two callouts about our boat being in the slip permanently. All of our Dock pictures have also reflected the boat in the slip and have never been changed in years. I’m sorry you missed this when booking.
As I mentioned, we have had many guests successfully, bring their own boats and dock them off of the sun deck.
We will take all of your feedback, constructively and work to make improvements.

The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and cooking pans/utensils. I never could find a pot holder but we made do. The entire house was very clean on the inside and the bedrooms were perfect for our needs. The children played with the sock puppet and enjoyed making a little play. The living room setup was large enough for the entire family to watch a movie together.

Great house on the water! The house was clean and well stocked for our stay. The back patio and dock were great for enjoying the lake views and the water.

Super clean which we really appreciate. Stocked kitchen, could use a few more med/large size bowls for food prep. Dock was great! Overall we had a fantastic time!

Our family of five enjoyed a long weekend stay here. The location is safe and convenient, close to the marina. My children enjoyed fishing from the dock. The house had everything we needed to feel comfortable and enjoy our stay. There were fans in one of the bedrooms, we wish we would have found those before the last day, it can take a little time to cool down at night. Overall a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay! The home was clean, thoughtfully decorated, kitchen was well supplied, beds were comfortable and Jonathan was a responsive, excellent host. We would stay again!
