We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this lake view property! The home was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Our host, Evelyn, went above and beyond to ensure everything was ready for our stay. She was always available if we needed anything. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub while taking in the breathtaking views of the countryside and lake—it was the ultimate peaceful getaway. The kitchen was exceptional with everything needed for preparing meals on site. We look forward to coming back!

I'd suggest moving grill to upper level to be close to kitchen since the bottom floor was unaccessible

We had a great family vacation here. Plenty of room for everyone, fully stocked kitchen and a grill for cooking out. Conveniently located near Starky's Marina, the Dam swimming area, and Eureka Springs.

House was clean and was stocked better than expected. There were a ton of kitchen appliances and equipment. The home has an area for the pups which made them feel at home as well :). We all loved our stay and the town.

I would recommend and coffee pot and atleast a mini fridge downstairs, maybe a room for a couple down there. The over all experience was great. The house was equipped with everything we needed, the beach towels were a nice touch! Overall I would be happy to stay there again!

Perfect home away from home for five 'mature' friends. The upstairs and downstairs decks were both used extensively, and the lower fire pit was an amazing end to a long and relaxing weekend. We especially appreciated the ample counter space in the kitchen, perfect for sharing meals and keeping the outrageous amount of snacks handy. Both upstairs bedrooms have their own bathrooms and access to the upper deck. The downstairs rooms, one with a twin trundle and the other with two twins, have lower deck doors. Only the double twin room has a bathroom, so anyone staying in the trundle room has to plan accordingly.Check-in and check-out were easy, and instructions for wi-fi, hot tub, and answers to common questions about the house were clearly stated and visible to guests.The only things that could be addressed are the lack of outlets, especially in the lower rooms, and the lack of a chair in the trundle room. Guests should be prepared to bring their own power strip. Eureka Springs, Branson, Rogers and Bentonville are a short, beautiful drive from the home. This was the perfect spot for our Friendsgiving celebration, and we will be back.

Very clean, spacious. Convenient location that was a short drive to the main attractions in Eureka Springs. The hot tub was a nice bonus while enjoying the view from the deck.

The house’s patio had an amazing view down the valley into the lake below. The add of having a hot tub to lay in and soak all the enjoyment even more time outside.

Sylvan Shores cabin was only a one night stay - I wish we would have stayed there some additional nights, but ran out of vacation time. There is so much to do at Eureka Springs and Beaver Lake. It was a lovely cabin, very clean, contained everything we could possibly need. Hot tub was clean and a nice temperature for a soak. Evelyn was friendly and easy to communicate with - responded to emails quickly. I highly recommend Sylvan Shores Cabin.

The house was unimpressive. We enjoyed our trip and E. S. but not the house all together. It is in a wooded area off of the main road fifteen minutes outside of town. It is a converted property from what appears to be an old shop. It has roaches and there were roaches in the coffee pot so we didn’t use it. We found mice droppings and mice had eaten one of the paper towel rolls under the kitchen sink so we used our own and tried to clean out the area. We only used one bedroom and one bathroom. The stairs are very steep. Every time you need something you have to contact the host. Do not trust this host in terms of cost. Make sure to video when you enter and when you leave. We swept, cleaned the floors and washed the laundry prior to leaving. She then requested an excessive amount of cleaning fees. She wanted more than it takes to have our home professionally cleaned with more the twice the square footage. She claimed we stole a bath mat from a bathroom that we actually washed for her and was in laundry basket on the dining room table. She demanded we replace the front rug when you walk in. It is a dollar store type of rug that was tattered when we got there. We did extra chores and washed the towels etc to ensure we were good guests. She then wanted excessive amounts of money to cover what she said was too much vacuuming. We did that before we left. Everything was left cleaner than we found it because we believe in leaving things nice since we are staying in someone’s home.

It's strange that these guests commented when the arrived "THIS IS A VERY NICE PLACE!" AND as as they were leaving texted me "THANK YOU FOR A LOVELY PLACE TO STAY, WE LOVED IT!" I was a little nervous when they told me their huge dog drools so needed to launder the blankets and towels they brought to cover every thing. Because we had to spend an extra 4 hours of the deep cleaning (shampooing the area rugs, cleaning walls, upholstery, cabinets, windows and mopping the floors repeatedly to get rid of the dog smell and fur/hair, I asked for additional money to cover the labor and a damaged rug. I later withdrew my request for the money since they were so defensive and infuriated by my request.

We had a great stay! The rooms were actually really cool, we were expecting they were like little apartment and that turned out awesome for our group.

Girls weekend!

My friends and I stayed here for a couple nights and it was Great! Very clean and everything we needed to enjoy a great weekend was provided. Would defiantly stay here again!
