The house was lovely, clean, and well-stocked. It was in a good location as we stayed in town to visit our daughter at ISU for Homecoming. It was in a busy part of town close to shopping and restaurants, but the house itself is on a quiet street. Parking was off the alley on a large cement slab. We enjoyed a fire in the fire pit and the deck behind the house. The house seemed a little smaller in real-life than I was expecting but still served our needs well. The two bedrooms upstairs were in a finished attic. The second bedroom with two twin beds was quite small with a low ceiling. Overall, it was a great stay and I’d highly recommend it.

What a lovely home for our stay in Ames! Conveniently located, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen. Communication was clear and quick, and Kevin and Karla were very accommodating. Just note that the bedrooms upstairs have VERY low ceilings.

We had THE BEST experience here! The home is absolutely beautiful, the hosts were extremely accommodating and we had everything we could have wanted and then some! I would definitely stay here again and 100% recommend staying here to anyone else as well! The bed was more comfortable than my bed at home! 11/10!!!

Very cute property in a perfect location. We were in town for a concert, so the house fit our needs perfectly. One tiny thing to add is that the bedrooms upstairs may be hard for some people to maneuver around due to the slanted ceilings. But overall the property was fantastic and we totally stay here again.

What a wonderful place. Super clean. Beds are very comfortable with great pillows and blankets. Kitchen is fully stocked. Hosts were responsive to any question very quickly.Super quiet street, I think we saw 3 cars all weekend. Wonderful outside area. We are a game playing family and loved playing horse-shoes and bocci ball. Great yard and fire pit.We will come back again when we visit our son who goes to college near by. Only thing to note, bedroom with 2 twin beds in it is a low door and a low ceiling. I am 5'10'' and I could not stand up straight in the bedroom and door is about 6 inches shorter than that. It is an attic space. My daughter was fine in it, by my 6' son could not sleep there.

We had a wonderful ladies weekend, 4 college friends for 32 years gathered in Ames for the weekend. The house had all the essentials for two nights of playing games, snacking, catching up and laughter. Comfy beds, clean surroundings and beautifully styled.

NICE PLACE

Was hard tobget the upstairs loft bedroom heated up and there was one cleaning issue, but overall nice place that matched the listing.

We had a really great stay at this location! It was SO central to several restaurants, breakfast, and thrift shops. We kept saying, "Oh Wow! We could walk there!" The house itself was so clean and cozy. The upstairs stayed plenty cool in the 85 degree humidity of June and there were a couple little fans if you want the extra breeze! Some things we did not note from the listing were the lack of table to play games on and the lack of oven but we were able to work it all out with the fancy air fryer and the coffee tables. The supplies in the bathroom were all so thoughtful and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The outdoor area looked amazing with a spacious deck and bar area for grilling and the fire pit, but we ended up staying inside! This would be a great place for a family with kids to stay or a group of adults. Thanks for the great stay!

The checking process was so easy and the house was way nicer than expected. The location was a little far from where we wanted to be located but overall a very nice house!

Great stay

Details… great comfortable beds especially having a king in the master. Great kitchen and outdoor area. We used the fire pit but couldn’t get the grill going. There is no dining table for family gatherings but it didn’t bother us. Host was very quick to respond to us. Perfect location and walkable to tdowntown/mainstreet

What an adorable and well appointed place. I feel like I’m going to steal some product and decorating ideas! Beds, linens and towels were soft and luxurious. What a gorgeous bathroom! Kitchen has everything you would need and the outside space is large for grilling and a fire. If you are a very tall person, be prepared to stoop a bit upstairs and getting into the shower. But there is plenty of room for six people. The neighborhood is not the cutest, but it is quiet, accessible, an easy walk to downtown and a quick drive to anything you need. We visited Iowa State and Ames for the first time and were charmed by everything we did, including this property. I see no reason we wouldn’t stay again. Thank you to the very attentive hosts for accurate information and communication.

This was the perfect stay for a quick trip to see family. We picked the hottest time to come home and the house held up! While we didn’t spend much time outside the fire pit was a nice feature to have. The neighborhood was quiet and minimal traffic. Close to conveniences and easy to find. Right next to the downtown and short drive to campus.
