Check-in was a nightmare. I arrived at 5pm with all my luggage and groceries, only to find the code I was given didn’t work. I was unable to reach the owner, so I had to call the HOA. Thankfully, the lady I spoke with could tell I was panicked and sent an emergency message to the owner. After 45 minutes of trying and retrying the code, it finally worked—without explanation. I never received a follow-up call or apology. When the owner reached out the next day, I was told I had locked myself out by entering the wrong code, which I found insulting. We never once had an issue entering the code again during the rest of our stay.Inside, the condo looked nice at first glance and matched the pictures. The furniture and décor were pleasant, but it clearly doesn’t get dusted often. There’s no dehumidifier, so everything felt damp, especially the bed sheets, which smelled like mildew and felt cheap. The damp sheets ruined it for me—we booked four nights but left after three.Practicality was also lacking: there was no broom to sweep up sand, and the kitchen had very limited cookware, so don’t expect to cook much. The resort itself had convenient beach access and a nice variety of pools, but they weren’t the cleanest, and the pool chairs had moldy cushions.The only part of the stay that wasn’t disappointing was the beautiful oceanfront view.Resort Rating: 3/5
