Holiday Weekends/weeks are subject to holiday pricing and minimum stay requirements and Friday and Saturday night stays are required if you're planning to stay over the weekend. Located in very quiet family neighborhood with full time residents. Absolutely no parties or noise after 9pm. Quiet hours are 9pm to 9am, per a strict and heavily enforced County ordinance.

July 4th break 2025 is a one week minimum rental (6/29 - 7/6/2025)

Sleeping Availability: 7 People in beds, 2 in Queen, 2 in Queen, 2 in Full, 1 on Single, 1 on air mattress. No more than 8 people.

This is a perfect place for families. The lakefront, shopping, golf, Safeway, bars, and restaurants are all walkable from the front door. (about a 5 minute walk). Once you get there, you won't really have to drive anywhere.

- 1 Queen Bed in Master (Memory Foam)
- 1 Queen Bed in Guest room

- Brand New Leather Sectional Couch (Very comfy)
- Fully functional kitchen with all you would need for family cooking w/ breakfast bar with seating for 6. (2 breakfast bar and 4 at table)
- Weber Spirit 3-Burner Propane Grill (Stored inside for winter)
- MASSIVE DECK with nice patio furniture and filtered view of the lake (cushions are left inside when there's no guests to keep clean, dry and pest free)
- Washer/Dryer
- Pool Table in garage
- Foosball Table with electronic scoreboard inside
- Dome Hockey Table in garage

- Stereo and DVD player with headphone jack hook up for Phone
- HD TV's with DVD
- Large Driveway with plenty of parking (can fit a boat trailer..etc)
- High-Speed internet with new modem and router
- 2 Night minimum (Rates subject to season, holidays...etc)

Hot tub and deck are closed 9pm - 9am. The deck furniture is stacked under the awning to avoid the sun and elements, and patio cushions are stacked inside in between stays. Guests are responsible for setting up the deck furniture and taking it down at check-out. I'd recommend purchasing trip insurance to protect yourself against any weather challenges or difficulties.

***House is on a standard electrical system and not sufficient to charge an EV car, scooter, bicycle. For fire safety, I don't allow charging of EV cars, scooters, or bicycles at the house. There a numerous EV car charging stations in downtown Tahoe City that can be used..thx***

This is a great place. The location is very convenient and it is indeed quite walkable to downtown. The foosball table helped keep the kids away from the TV for some of our time there. Nice deck, practical kitchen, comfortable beds.

Great place and right in town

The house had everything you could have imaged and then some. Set up for people traveling especially long distances. Location is perfect to watch to Tahoe City.

Great location!

We had a family girls trip with 6 adults. This was a great location and we could easily walk to great restaurants, shops and the lake. House was super clean & comfortable. Highly recommended!

Cute place with all you need. Great location. The view from the hot tub and deck is spectacular. The kids enjoyed all the games. Friendly and responsive host. Can’t wait to stay here again

Great Cabin, close to lake, not sure ability to sleep 8.

We had a great time at the cabin, it fit our needs for the most part. we loved how close it was to the lake and the hot tub on the deck provided a nice view of the trees and a glimpse of the lake. The only shortfall we had and reason to take a star off was the cabin was supposed to house 8 adults and 2 kids which we had. there wasn't a place for the 8th person to sleep other than the couch unless it was expected for two adults to sleep in a twin top bunk bed. Other than the sleeping arrangements, it was an overall perfect stay. we also appreciated our booking being accepted for a short period during the holiday weekend which many other places wouldn't allow.

Ideal location for skiing and going into town

Our family of four stayed for five days over Christmas. The home was larger than I pictured it. Plenty of room to relax, cook meals and be together. So nice to have kitchen essentials available and well stocked, including shampoo, lotion etc. Although we cooked most meals (thank you for the savemore savings card on the fridge!), it’s a short five+ minute downhill walk into town to eat and shop. Great views of Lake Tahoe. It must be beautiful in the summer too. We skied Squaw and Alpine 15+ minute drive but there is a shuttle on the main road. The hot tub was so nice to come back to after 5 hard days of skiing! The teenagers loved the dvd selections but we all fell asleep on the couch before the movies were over. We could leave our equipment in the garage and do laundry which is a huge plus.

Just okay

We had been to Lake Tahoe only once before and it was 15 years ago. We stayed near Heavenly during that trip, so we were unfamiliar with the different communities/areas around the lake. I thought being in Tahoe City would be nice/what we wanted, but it wasn't. You are in a neighborhood and the houses are very close to you (like, VERY close), which means no privacy. The street is steep, so when you're on the rooftop deck you're literally staring into one neighbor's backyard watching their kids playing (not ideal) and you're at window-level with the neighbor on the other side (which means they're staring at you). Deck access is via either of the two upstairs bedrooms (not ideal), but worse yet, there is no place to sit outside at ground level. The "front door" is through the garage, so you can't really step outside easily (there is a back door blocked by a high chair and a side door in the mudroom, but they just lead to a tiny gravel backyard with no seating). You have to set up the deck top patio yourself - it will not look like the pictures when you arrive. And then you have to take it all down at the end of your stay. I've rented dozens of homes and never had to do this before. What we were really wanting is to be able to sit outside and eat lunch - but we'd have to carry our food/drinks upstairs, through a bedroom (this is after we set up the patio), and it just didn't seem worth it. Also, while the listing does say this, the rooftop patio is off-limits at 9pm. I missed this in the listing (my fault). Because of this, we never used the hot tub. The home is full of personal photos (I've never had a rental home with personal photos) and personal belongings/clothing in the closets. The bedding is very dated/used and needs refreshed. The mattress on the first floor bed is TERRIBLE. My husband and I couldn't wait to get home. We both agreed it was the worst mattress we've ever had at a rental. None of the bedrooms had dressers, so we couldn't unpack our suitcases. Kitchen was well stocked, had everything we needed to cook a few meals at home. We wished we had stayed elsewhere. If you want to be in Tahoe City (which does have some perks...close to the grocery store, restaurants/bars, easy walk to the lake), and you don't mind being right next to other homes, this house might work for you. It lacked the outdoor spaces and privacy we were wanting for our vacation.

Perfect Location for Tahoe Fun!

This comfy home is in a PERFECT location. It's less than a 5 minute walk through a residential area to the main drag filled with shops, restaurants and a small beach with a park. It was convenient to drive to other beaches in the area as well. The hot tub on the large deck was clean and the perfect way to end a long day. The host was extremely quick to respond to inquiries. I would definitely stay here again.

Spring ski trip

The home was just as advertised. The hot tub and deck were fantastic, and the hot tub was very clean and well maintained. We used it every day after skiing. The location was great, it was a short 5 minute walk to restaurants in town.

Cozy house, good location

We had a very comfortable stay at the house. It had plenty of space for us and a well stocked kitchen. However, the hot tub was not very clean when we checked in. And the kitchen only had 4 chairs and we were a group of 7. It did have a high chair which was helpful. Otherwise the house was great and I would rent it again if the hot tub is clean and there are more chairs.

House was great with all the supplies needed for cooking. Wi-Fi was a little iffy at times but overall fine. Did not use hot tub or roof deck; but looked as described.

The location was a key factor when I bought my home, as I want my guests to be able to walk to downtown Tahoe City. There's a TON of trails, hikes, and OHV Dirtbike/ATV/4x4 areas nearby. They all offer amazing views and are maintained very well.

This a great to place to unwind with a glass of wine or cold beer/cocktail. You can literally walk to everything and won't need to get back in to the car until you check out. There are plenty of restaurants with great food and live music nearby. The house is in a nice quiet neighborhood with full time residents and ideal for family trips.
