Great beachfront property that is pet friendly!!!

We enjoyed our room. Nothing about our stay was as bad as the reviews we had previously read. We did not pick Hilton or Marriott, so we expected to find the typical families with typical family messes on the property. We had a wonderful time the whole week we were there. We particularly appreciated the location being accepting of pets, albeit with a 75/pet fee.

My VRBO prepaid booking never made it past check-in. The front desk manager was argumentative with VRBO Customer Support. Evidently there was a communication problem between my VRBO host and getting my information to the front desk for my reservation. There is no assistance from the front desk to find a solution to work out the communication gaps and to find me a room for my prepaid three nights stay. My impressions of the property upon initial entry into the lobby for registration. What is that? It was dingy and not very well. Maintained to a good cleanliness standard. The location was super right on the beach with the pool. I never even made it into a room. So I’m disappointed in the property with their front desk, manager and lack of proper guest services and poorly handled front desk administration.

Staff super nice! But this place was a poo hole. None of the inside doors latch or even shut. The sliding glass door handle is beyond broken and the bottom track needs cleaned or new bearings in it. Had to crouch down and push on the lower inner part of the door to wrangle it open. Half the lights don't work, the stovetop doesn't work (found out after buying 100 of food for the week) There's a pot, pan, 2 bowls, 3 plates, 3 spoons, 1 fork and zero drinkware. No dish cloths/towels....no paper towels. Bedding and window drapes smelled sour (had to get fabreeze & candles). Nothing dried completely in the place - had to use the balcony. Just a shower, it's stuck on shower only...all the faucet handles in the bathroom are loose. The kitchen spout is so encased in lime deposit it doesn't move. The hot tubs closed. Same with bar/restaurant. No floaties for lazy river but a sign saying do not use without one??? sand in all pools. Stains in the hallways. Malfunctioning elevators. Creme de la creme of the whole trip was the absolute beast of a ROACH we killed on the 3rd night. I'm not a picky person when it comes to accomodations especially at the beach...but come on!!! Do not book here.

Never again

The property has seen it's best days 20 years ago. The frontdesk needed a room number but none was given in booking and owner never came back to me. Phone not picked up. Chat not answered.I just got some room. Sliding door needed to be pushed open with foot and hand.AC leaked. Water in room.Cuttlery in kitchen? 4 spoons one fork.Comment front desk. The stopped giving them out because they got stolen.Ceiling had water condensing tripping to bed.Good. Towels and free parking. Rest needs an total overhaul.

Never Again

Room was not ready until 2 hours past check in time. Every pool/spa was shut down, Board of Health was on site removing guests from the water. Front desk staff was overwhelmed and unhelpful. Fitness facilities were over run with children and no adult supervision. Room was a nice size with a full kitchen however, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Cleanliness lacking is really unacceptable when you charge a cleaning fee! The toilet seat and the bed were both broken. Multiple attempts to reach the host remain unanswered. I contacted VRBO directly and they provided no assistance, they too were unable to reach the host and this acted as they’d done all the could! I will be seeking compensation, even if I have to dispute the charges.

It was a pleasant stay. Pool wasn’t open for the first two days. And the air conditioning stopped working, but EVERYTHING was taken care of immediately. Will stay again

Poorly staffed

Our unit was fine, all we expected. But the property management is not great. Trash in hallways, facilities not available (hot tub, lazy river). The parking garage appears to be used for junk storage by the facility--old furniture, appliances, etc are simply left sitting in the garage. The restaurant was not open at all, and the pool tiki bar was only open one afternoon.
