This is a modern interior barndominium in quaint Clatskanie. It is the perfect home base for your trip. With 3 bedrooms including 2 queen beds and 1 triple bunk bed with trundle along with 2 full bathrooms and complete kitchen this place has everything you need. The additional living spaces with sofa beds and futons provide extra comfort and sleeping accommodations for guests. Our 20 acre farm offers experiences as well as accommodations. The barndominium shares the property with our family home which is a pleasant distance from each other allowing for plenty of privacy.

The barndominium is a great space for a group getaway. Our two families enjoyed the cows, firepit, hot tub, night sky, and easy drive to Astoria. The rental has an actual fully-functioning kitchen and there is a Safeway nearby. We also appreciated the electric car charger! Jen and her family were great hosts.

Five adults stayed in here for 4 days. We loved the remoteness, watching the cows, chickens and kittens. We really enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit and outdoor dining area. The kitchen is roomy with everything we needed. Air conditioning was greatly needed (especially the first day). The beds were very comfortable, however the queen bed facing the hot tub made a squeaking noise when either of us moved. We weren't very happy about the bidet situation, but made do. I broke my ankle the day before we arrived, so there were lots of games and puzzle building (which there were plenty to choose from). It is a 7 minute drive to Clatskanie and 45 minutes from Astoria. We had beautiful weather and I would recommend this VRBO highly.

We were in the area to go fishing

If you have a reason to visit Clatskanie, this is a clean roomy place to stay. Very helpful property manager.

Quiet, rural, relaxing stay

The property owners were very nice and helpful. This property is a little rural but quite easy to find as long as it’s not in the dark the first time arriving. Owner provided good directions. Lots of room to spread out in the barndominium. Clean and good amenities. Nice hot tub and fire pit. Fun to watch the friendly cows wandering in their pasture.

Lovely Barndominium With a lot of space

The stay was great, just make sure you get there before it gets dark, as the road to the home is on a private long dirt road, next to a river/stream. There are cows and chickens, and outside fire pit.The home has enough space and comfy couches and a large enough kitchen to cook a feast.The only downside when my fiancé arrived before me, she said there were men outside the Barndiminum, where she was to park. VRBO advertises that the homes rented are "free" of homeowners, so we were expecting to not have anyone there when we arrived like in other places we have rented. So that through us off and it made my fiance uncomfortable, but the owner came over and introduced herself my fiance' said and she was very nice and explained all that she needed to know.We do undertand its on a farm which is great and we loved it, but we did not know the owner would be next door in the main house. We thought we were renting a home on a farm to ourself. for a couple days. Not that big of a deal, but for some people knowing the owner is in the house next door might be helpful.We would rent again, just didnt know some of those things ahead of time.
