The property was clean, well maintained and perfect for my family to get away and enjoy WV. It was close to hiking, the lake and restaurants but tucked in a quiet neighborhood. Pluses were the game room, hot tub and fenced in back yard for the pups. Highly recommend!!

Plenty of space for a family vacation. Very clean and had everything we needed. Host was very responsive and attentive to any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again!

The house was in a nice neighborhood and exactly as listed. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. Our kids loved the game room. The host was friendly and responsive. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend.

This vacation rental is by far the best we’ve stayed at. Sarah was so nice and helpful. Location is perfect. The house was nice, cozy and quiet. Perfect for all ages. Definitely would stay again if we go back to West Virginia.

Perfect Location

The house was about 20-30 minutes from most of the hikes in New River Gorge. The house was clean and more than sufficient for the two of us. We had a great stay!

Weekend getaway

We enjoyed the hot tub Friday evening after stopping for dinner on our way in. Saturday we explored the New River gorge area and then relaxed on the patio and used the grill. It was a very nicely done and clean property!

Perfect!

It is located close to everything in a nice neighborhood! Property was in excellent condition. Communication with Host prompt and friendly! Close to all attractions in the area! I would stay here again every time we go to the lake!
15 minutes from the house…. How we spent our days!

Excellent choice in Summersville WV area

Great location close to arena and conference center for the price of a hotel. Also close to Summersville Lake. Will be returning in the summer. Host was very friendly and accommodating. Thank you

Great location that real very close to the lake in a nice neighborhood. Perfect amount of space, kids loved the hot tub. Excellent communication with host! We were visiting from Colorado and wanted to see the lake. We booked a pontoon tour through ACE and loved it. Also checked out their waterpark and that was a hit too. Thank you!

The property was excellent!! The host is extremely responsive. It was very very clean. Kids will love the game room! The heat worked which was so nice. Last year we about froze to death at another property.(not the same host) If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

The house was perfect for us. We liked having a grill outside. The hot tub was used in the evenings (when it wasn’t raining!) and the dining room table was great for games and our big puzzle. Lots of towels, even for the hot tub. The location is good, just a quiet neighborhood with some cute dogs in their fences to peep. Close to everything we wanted to do.
Sunshine scoops ice cream is amazing. I recommend the blackberry cobbler

New River view from the visitor center platform. Nice, easy boardwalk.
We rented a pontoon boat at the marina and had the best day!

House is in a quiet neighborhood. It was about a 20min drive to Summersville lake where we put our boat in. So close but not 5mins. The driveway can fit truck with boat but beware it’s tight getting it backed in and it downslopes. READ all house rules and booking information before booking. Got a nice surprise our first day because I didn’t update guest count. Received an unexpected additional charge. I can’t understand advertising your house for up to 12 people but if booking over 4 there’s additional charges per person per night. This seems misleading when people are looking for a certain size house within a certain price range. So I spent the rest of our stay worrying we would be charged for something else or get in trouble for something else. It was not relaxing for me at all. My family did enjoy the game room and the hot tub. And the big kitchen table was nice for eating as a family and kids played games in the evening. Kitchen is stocked other than you only get x amount of trash bags, dishwashing pods, etc. And only 1 dish towel. So if you cook a lot at the house as we did it’s probably not going to be enough. Trash cans were full when we got there. So had trash with nowhere to put it. All in all for the price we paid for the long weekend I expected everything to be much better. Definitely disappointed

In our initial confirmation message sent after booking, we confirm the total guest count and specifically note that everyone staying at the property needs to be included on the reservation. Your reservation was made for 4 guests; however, you brought a total of 12 guests. We confirm the guest count in advance so our cleaning team can properly prepare the home and ensure there are enough supplies, linens, and other necessities for everyone staying at the property. Accommodating an additional 8 guests requires additional supplies and preparation from our cleaners, which is why it is important that the reservation accurately reflects the number of guests staying. I also want to clarify that the property is 5 miles from the lake. During your stay, my neighbor’s yard was used to back into the driveway, and an excessive amount of trash was left behind after checkout. We work hard to provide a clean, well prepared home for our guests and to be respectful of our neighbors. The guest count and property expectations are communicated in advance specifically to prevent situations like this.
