Have fun with the whole family in my beautifully renovated cottage nestled in the heart of the quaint mountain town of Big Stone Gap. Adjacent to The Trail of the Lonesome Pine outdoor drama. Within easy walking distance of great dining, coffee and ice cream shops, beautiful walking trails, the BSG visitor’s center, bike trails, parks, pickleball courts, fishing, kayaking, and more!

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The house is recently renovated and very clean. The host is excellent! He contacted us shortly after we arrived to make sure everything was good and to give us contact info just in case. People in town are super friendly. We plan to stay here again!

The place was beyond nice and clean. Great locations. We had plenty of family stop by and see us and there were tons of room, never felt cramped. Will definitely be staying there again.

The house was beautiful and we loved the shower and the bed but there is a musty smell and the keypad on the front door stopped working. We had to leave our stuff there without being able to lock the door. We messaged the host but received no response at all. The floor grate in the kitchen floor was loose and we kept tripping over it. All in all it is the least favorite VRBO we have stayed in.

Property was VERY clean and newly renovated! Perfect location in safe neighborhood. Stores entertainment, and restaurants within walking distance. We had a wonderful stay.

Perfect getaway in Big Stone Gap

This newly remodeled home was perfect for our family. There were four of us but there was room for two more to sleep. Everything was so clean! We loved the fact that the owner immediately responded when we had questions. The house is walking distance to the cute main street in Big Stone Gap and there are lots of beautiful hiking paths in the nearby mountains. We would definitely stay here again.

What a lovely place to stay in the mountains of southwest Virginia. We visit BSG nearly every year for a family reunion. The only decent hotel in town has seen better days and we wanted something more comfortable. This trip was my 84 year old Dad and me. He LOVED it and so did I!!!The owners took care to think of everything when renovating this house. From being able to make our fresh coffee from the provided supplies to the fabulous shower I wish I had at home — everything was perfect! We look forward to staying again soon!

This little house was perfect! Located in the heart of town within walking distance to everything. The house came with everything you could possibly need. I grew up in BSG. They did a fantastic job with the renovation. We visited my family during the 4th of July. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck and spending time with our nieces. We would definitely rent this house again.
