We thoroughly enjoyed our Labor Day weekend stay. The location on the bay was beautiful. The host was very responsive and helpful when we needed to reach out. Washington Island is a gem. We would love to return some day.

Beautiful, quiet location. Liz, those host was very helpful in letting me know that the Washington Island ferry would only be running in the morning, due to weather conditions. We would have missed the ferry and had to find a place on the peninsula to stay for a night. The home was great, good space for our small group.

This was an awesome place to spend time with family! There were so many windows in the living room area. We were surrounded by the beautiful fall colors. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the morning looking out over the lake with a nice warm cup of coffe. In the evening we had campfires and observed so many shootings stars and even a bit of the northern lights.

This property is amazing. Everything was clean and well stocked. The view is spectacular and the house is great! We absolutely loved everything about this house. We would come back in a heartbeat and no one was ready to leave.

Excellent place to stay

We loved the property. Great gathering and bedroom spaces, fire pit, fully stocked kitchen, we had kayaks rented and delivered from Island Adventures, great location to bike to much of the island easily. Maybe bring beach towels for a full house.

Enjoyed our stay, the neighbors were less than ideal. They were rude and made our stay less enjoyable. Came over several times saying we were too loud during non quiet hours. The pier, water, view and firepit were amazing! We loved being outside majority of the day. Only other downfall was how much work we had to do to clean up. Example: all towels had to be washed and dried and folded. We didn’t mind but it didn’t give me much peace of mind knowing that others may just not have cleaned them. Host was easy to communicate with and over all very family friendly vacation with lots of space!

We're so glad you enjoyed the pier, the water, the many views, and the fire pit, and that you found the home spacious and family-friendly. I'm sorry to hear the interactions with the neighbors impacted your stay. I only wish I had known while you were there, as I would have done my best to help address the situation and make the rest of your stay more enjoyable. I also wanted to clarify our checkout request regarding the towels. If guests have the time, we simply ask that they start a load of towels before checkout to help our housekeeping team. We never expect guests to complete the laundry, and all towels and linens are laundered between every stay, regardless of whether a load was started. I apologize for any confusion. Thank you again for your feedback. We appreciate it and are glad you were able to enjoy so much of what makes our property special and hope to have the opportunity to host you again.

The house is mostly great - VERY well stocked with everything one would need or want. Plenty of room. Comfortable furniture. Loved the deck and firepit and docks. There were a lot of cobwebs and spiders --- expected them outside, but not so many indoors. And beds were unmade - was that a hygienic choice? Not a big deal, but unexpected. All in all, we loved staying here again, and would do so again.
