This compact ranch sits in a quiet wooded area. The deck offers a peaceful setting for morning coffee, or a great place to enjoy a cool drink after a busy day out and about. The house offers many conveniences including laundry facilities and wireless internet. The kitchen is fully equipped and air conditioners keep you comfortable.

The house is 2 miles from Bowdoin College, home of the Maine State Music Theater, the Bowdoin Music Festival, the Bowdoin Art Museum and the Perry-MacMillan Artic Museum. Downtown Brunswick is minutes away offering a wide variety of shopping, sightseeing and dining options.

Freeport and all it offers is 10 minutes away. Whether outlet shopping, touring on a lobster boat, visiting LL Bean or enjoying a Ben and Jerry's ice cream, Freeport has something for everyone.

There are 3 golf courses locally to test your skills. 9 holes within a mile of the house and 2 - 18 hole courses nearby. If championship golf if more to your liking, a visit to the Belgrade Lakes Golf Course, designed by Clive Clark, may be in order.

Water sports abound in our area. Access to the ocean is two miles from the house. Kayaking, canoeing, jet skiing, fishing, bring it with you or rent/hire local equipment and/or guides. There is plenty of parking and turnaround room to accommodate your boat or trailer!

We love the Brunswick area and are confident that once you spend time here, it will be a destination of choice for many years to come!

Great for working in area

Excellent accommodation for us as we prepared to move into our new home. Fully equipped for all our needs. Snow plowing was much appreciated.

Wooded escape

We loved staying here. Our dog came with us and he is neurotic about hard wood floors. With a couple of rugs that we brought he was right at home. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood as well as how close the town and trails were. Marcia had a binder full of things to do nearby as well as a notebook containing information from previous tenants. This really helped us plan our days and learn the area. We felt right at home and have even considered making Maine our yearly destination if not our residence in the future.

Absolutely Wonderful!

A truly amazing property. An Exceptionally clean and well organized home. Everything was as listed in the description. The beds were very comfortable and dressed with fine linens. The living room furniture was comfortable as well. There's a nice deck on the rear of house with a gas grill that made for some great evenings grilling. Marcia and Bob are great and always available however the house was so well-stocked and problem free we seldom needed to contact them in the three months we were there. Definitely worth more than Five stars. We will stay here again should we return to Maine.

Brunswick ME Getaway

What an amazing home! I’ve learned that most rentals aren’t quite as described. This was above & beyond. Immaculately clean, well stocked, towels & bed linens provided . The bed was extremely comfortable, no back pain or stiffness. The yard and deck very nice. There was a bowl of water waiting for Sophie , our boxer, which she lapped up after a long ride. I have absolutely nothing negative to say. Not one thing. It was better than described . Thank you, Marcia

christmas stay

it was a wonderful place to stay to spend christmas with our daughter who is a RN in portland. We have not spent the holidays last year together due to covid. It was affordable and plenty of room for our dog too. Because it became icy theyw ere very thoughtful of spreading icemelt around and plowed the driveway due to xmas day snow. Everything in the house was well stocked and allowed me to make a full xmas dinner . Thankyou

Great Place!!

This lovely home was the perfect place!! Very quiet...easy access...super clean...great location...modern updates without taking away from coziness of the house...etc. Marcia was great and clearly takes pride in her home. I highly recommend this lovely home....you will not be disappointed!!

Quiet, comfortable and well-maintained

This house was comfortable, updated and well-maintained. It was also well-stocked. We picked up a couple things at the grocery store on the way in because it was late and we didn't want to take a chance on it not having, for example, toilet paper. Upon our arrival, however, we found that it had just about anything we could possibly need (coffee, coffee fixings, spices, electric lobster cooker, paper products, soaps, detergents, cleaners, shampoo, etc.). The house was in a very quiet neighborhood. It had a large, somewhat secluded yard with lots of trees around. There was quiet gravel road nearly a mile long almost across the street that we walked down several times during our weeklong stay. The house was in a good location for us with Portland being only about thirty minutes away, Boothbay Harbor about 45 minutes and Rockland about an hour and 15 minutes. Marcia was great to work with. We called her because we were having trouble getting the TV remote to work. She was very responsive and stayed in communication with us until the problem was resolved. We certainly would select this property again.

Immaculate, well-stocked home near Bowdoin and Maine coast

We couldn't have been happier with our stay in Brunswick. The location was perfect for mid-coast adventures, but the furnishings and amenities made our occasional stay-at-home days very comfortable. Looking forward to returning.

Perfect midcoast location!

Stayed here for a week with family, while we took in the amazing sights of: Giant's Stairs at Bailey Island Biddeford Pool The Portland Observatory Portlandhead Lighthouse Old Orchard Beach Freeport Outlets Acadia National Park Dinner in Bar Harbor Whale & Puffin Watching in Boothbay So grateful to have found this gem of a home. It was thoughtfully decorated, well-stocked with plenty of linens, towels, laundry detergent, bathroom & kitchen essentials, and a helpful binder full of local attractions! Marcia was an excellent & responsive host. Would definitely stay here again if ever in Maine.

Home away from home!

This was our 5th stay at this property since 2013. It's everything you could ever ask for! Clean, well stocked with anything you need and a great location! The owner is so easy to communicate with and has gone above and beyond to provide for her guests!

Perfect Small Home

The property was exactly as described and pictured. Plus it was immaculate. We were perfectly comfortable using the home as our base camp as we took in all the sights and things to do in coastal Maine. If I had one small suggestion it would be to invest in central air. Otherwise everything was great.

A wonderful month!

Our family spent a month here and it was a lovely spot - very clean, very comfortable furniture, well-equipped, and very convenient. We enjoyed the close proximity to Simpsons Point and Harpswell. Marcia was very responsive when needed. We'd definitely stay here again!

Lovely house, easy access to beautiful mid-coast Maine

I rented this house to get out of town for a few days during July 4th. Marcia was very kind and helpful during the booking process and very communicative. The house was perfect for our needs. Beautiful and peaceful backyard. My only recommendation would be to put a firepit in the backyard! (We brought our own, because, s’mores.) Street that the house is on is relatively busy, but inside the house and in the backyard you don’t even notice. The location of the house is great— you’re less than an hour from some amazing mid-coast Maine sights, beaches. We saw so many great places in our short stay. Thanks for a wonderful weekend!
