Roar and Rest Retreat was exceptionally clean and had lot's of nice touches.Loved that every bedroom had A/C units!! Great stay!

Our stay was great and I would recommend this home! The hosts were excellent communicators, the beds were super comfortable, linens/towels just right and appIiances near-new and clean. I (almost!) wished our kids were younger so they could have taken advantage of the fun set-up.

Lovely house in a very convenient location which made it easy for us to explore the beautiful fall colors in the area. Easy to relax at home after a day full of activities. Loved the game room! All amenities provided, efficient check-in and check-out. Great communication. Can’t go wrong with this one! Thank you for hosting us!

We really enjoyed the property. The hosts were incredibly responsive and informative. We were amazed at the level of detail provided all throughout the house and, probably especially all of the labels! So very helpful! We had a long day driving and were met with snacks and cold drinks! The little touches were most welcomed! The beds were very comfortable, and we all enjoyed the short stay.

This was the perfect place for our family We range in age 70 down to 8 months and wanted to have Thanksgiving together and did .The home was easy access for the older one and the little ones . The home was lovely and very clean and felt very welcoming .

Enjoyed our stay away from the hub of town. This property was nice with children as toys provided that kept them busy. Owners were very good at communicating. Enjoyed our stay a lot, would highly recommend.

Great house in a great location

We came up with family, very spacious house for 6 kids and 3 adults. Great location near a lot of stuff! Very clean and well stocked

This was the perfect place for me, my wife, and my hiking friends to stay and use as base camp for our hike in the White Mountains (we did the Tripyramids). The house has a great layout, was very clean and orderly, and communication with the host was always prompt.

Great location, close to downtown North Woodstock. Updated house with plenty of space! Loved all the kids toys as we traveled with our two kids! Check in was easy!

The house was very clean and communication was excellent. Everything is very clearly labeled at the house. The location of the house was not preferable. Although convenient, it was very close to a busy road. One of the AC units wasn’t working and we had to clean the filter and remove the water. The first floor bedroom didn’t have an AC which I wish I had known before. Although it got cool enough, the road was loud with the window open. For the price, it was overall a good place.

Thank you for your review and feedback, Caitlin. We’re glad you found the home clean, well labeled, and easy to access. Since your stay, we’ve added a dedicated AC unit to the first-floor bedroom, so all four bedrooms now have their own AC. We also always encourage guests to reach out during their stay if anything isn’t working properly — had we known about the AC issue, we would have been happy to address it right away. The home is located along a main road, which does make it very convenient for getting around and especially helpful during the winter, when the road is regularly plowed and well maintained. We understand that the tradeoff is some road noise, and appreciate you sharing your experience.

Great place near loon!

Even better than expected! Very spacious and it seems to be newly renovated. Check-in was easy and my friend really appreciated the snacks. Would def stay again

Perfect “base camp” for our weekend at the New Hampshire Highland Games at Loon Mountain. Far enough from town to avoid the crowds, but close enough that we were able to get where we needed to be quickly. The house had enough room to spread out in the evenings, and all the kitchen supplies we needed for breakfast and dinner.

We booked this stay for new year with family. We had a wonderful stay and felt very comfortable in your home. We would love to stay with you again if we visit in the future.Host is so cooperative. Highly recommend people to book this appointment. Friendly space for kids. A lots playing stuff. So good house.

Wonderful Home

This was a great place to stay, the location is perfect for White Mountain adventures. Kitchen and bathrooms have been nicely updated. Home is tastefully decorated and clean. We enjoyed the playroom and my grandson loved having so many books to read. Highly recommend!

This house was perfect for our long weekend! There were 3 generations staying and there was plenty of room. It was very clean and comfortable! The children loved the game room!! Geng and Bo were excellent hosts. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Drinks/snacks and a welcome gift were left for us. Wonderful personal touches. It was only minutes away from Ice Castles and restaurants. All in all it was a fabulous weekend!

We had a great time at your home. It was very clean. Geng was a great host always available and very helpful. We enjoyed the extras too! Everything was clearly labeled making it easy to find everything. My kids enjoyed the toys and games and we all enjoyed the firepit. We would love to visit again!
