The house was the perfect location to walk to downtown and any restaurants. It was also right on the river, which was unfortunately dry, but the kids still loved looking for seashell and rocks in the river bed.

TheRise Cottage is centrally located and so very comfortable .Across the street is River Grill and the food is delicious.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this gem of a property! The backyard was so unique and fun, especially for the grandkids. We loved the convenience of town, all the wonderful shops are within walking distance. The host communicated with us very well and we hope to come back!

We held a family reunion over Easter weekend and stayed at the Rose Cottage… we had a wonderful experience. The home, landscaping, and provost’s to everything was perfect! Adriana was a wonderful host, and we will absolutely rent again! I highly recommend staying here!

The property was wonderful. The rooms were comfortable and the game room and the sunroom were hits. The season we chose did keep us from enjoying the river below the property, it was dry, but it did make great family pictures. We were able to communicate well with the owners and had all our questions answered. We brought our Blackstone griddle and cooked most our meals on it on the back patio. The backyard is beautiful and maintained well. Our grandchildren felt comfortable and really loved the little cottage.

This location was perfect, a 2 minute walk to the square. Adriana was quick to respond and the place itself was one of the nicest, coziest homes ever forOur family. Would absolutely recommend this as it was 5 stars all the way around. Extremely picturesque when walking out the back door about 80 steps to the clear water river!

We had a wonderful stay. Floating the river to the Big Rocks was a great time. The kids had so much fun exploring the property. Would definitely recommend!

We loved this place! The kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal, well stocked and clean. The back yard is landscaped so well, we were out there day and night. Plenty of towels, lots of beds, very clean. The hosts welcomed us and were in touch when we reached out.
Christmas additions were a nice touch!

Our stay at Rose Cottage was absolutely wonderful. The home is ideally located, providing easy access to all the local attractions while still offering a peaceful retreat. Everything was impeccably cleaned and well-maintained, and the host’s communication was excellent throughout our visit.The highlight of the property is definitely the amazing backyard. It was a joy to watch our grandsons play in the river and feed the ducks, and we spent every evening enjoying the bonfires.I highly recommend a stay at this home for anyone looking for a perfect getaway!

Family New Years Eve

It was the perfect location. We walked to historic square. The backyard was absolutely beautiful! We all spent a lot of time enjoying the outdoors. We definitely want to come back for a summer trip.

The perfect place to stay with a family in Glen Rose. The house is fantastic, and the backyard is its equal. The yard is beautifully landscaped, has many places to sit, a slide, a goldfish pond, swings, BBQ grill, and extends down to the Paluzy river. It is very close to downtown, and near everything in Glen Rose. It is on the same street as The Big Rocks Park on the river, and the State Park and Dinosaur World (if you have small children. Our host was fantastic!

This house is in a great location. You can see downtown Glen Rose from the front porch. The backyard is beautiful! There's a lot of stairs in the yard, but you can go over a little bridge and into the parking lot next door to access the backyard without going down all the steps. We were grateful for that since my mother is older and would have had trouble otherwise. The inside is very clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay and would gladly rent this house again.

Family reunion

Very convenient location. Beautiful yard that has river access. We spent most of our time outside enjoying the property. The only problem we had with the house is that it had two bathrooms but one only had a bathtub. This is the only improvement that we would’ve wanted with this property.

Fun Family Memorial Day Weekend

We loved our stay, the house, local attractions and local restaurants. The backyard was amazing! The adults and young kids were drawn out there multiple times a day. The host was very helpful with the couple of questions we had. Leaving the driveway wasn't always the fastest because of heavier traffic but it was a major holiday weekend. We're looking forward to our next visit.

Perfect little getaway

The house was adorable and cozy and they even hung a birthday sign for the birthday girls. A couple of suggestions: put something to show guests about the step going out to indoor patio area (several of us almost fell); add a coffee pot. There were 10 women and we quickly ran out of the pods. We had a great time and will most likely come back in the Spring.

Great Stay!

This house was perfect for our weekend get away to Dinosaur Valley State Park and Fossil Rim. Walking distance to the square - our littles loved getting ice cream at Shoo Fly Soda Shop! The house was immaculately clean and the kitchen well stocked. The welcoming cookies a very nice touch! The pictures of the backyard do not do it justice! It was a wonderful space to relax and enjoy. It was a little too cool to enjoy our morning coffee on the patio, but in a couple months …. In the mean time, the sun room was perfect!
