Undoubtedly one of the best locations on Lake Granbury, and just 4.6 miles from the historic Granbury Town Square and 16.6 from Fossil Rim Wildlife Park. Expansive lot on this quiet cove is the perfect place for families and friends to experience the ultimate lake vacation, with something for everyone. Wade, float, swim, kayak or canoe (both provided) in the cove, or bring your boat/jetski and enjoy hours of fun and excitement in the open lake. Relax, watch the ducks, fish or play on the large dock (with covered boat lift). Take advantage of the large lawn to play soccer, volleyball or play bocci ball (provided). Enjoy fun conversation and smores around the large firepit in the evening.

With 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, this rustic cabin sleeps up to 17. Kids and teens will love their own upstairs bedroom equipped with double/twin bunk beds. The ample, fully-equipped kitchen and den/dining area offer beautiful views of the lake. But plan to take advantage of the large, partially covered patio for grilling and picnic-style meals. Two TV's and DVD players are available for the few times you'll want to be indoors.

Women's Get Away

The property has a beautiful view of the lake with great sunrises. The layout was perfect for our womens get together and had plenty of room for visiting, playing games & eating. Big kitchen with plenty of counter space. Would highly recommend for anyone.

We love it!

We stay about twice a year since Dec, 2020. We love the outdoor area more than the inside, but the inside is great too, especially the downstairs. We have family time, cook meals, play games, and fish. The first time we stayed, was just for a place to stay due to a wedding nearby on New Year's Eve. We kept coming back because we loved it. The only thing we would change is to be able to bring our 4 legged family members.

Property not as described

Property was in poor condition. Ceiling fans were broken and hanging out of the ceiling with no blades on them or were unable to be turned off because the chain was broken completely off. Blinds in upstairs rooms were broken, upholstered was thread bare and stained. Canoes/kayaks take on water and life vests (only 1 adult size) was dry-rotten. The outdoor dumpster smells like an animal pen at the zoo and stinks the back porch up. Bed and linens are stained and worn. Sadly, host is unresponsive.

Family Gathering

We have stayed here many times over the years. We try and bring the family together for a fun relaxing time. Patti and her family have remodeled the house and heve made it much more functional. There nothing fancy about the house, just a place to have fun and enjoy the lake. We have made so many memories at this house. We have grandchildren who were coming as children and now they are bringing their children. We will try and continue to come as long as possible.

Family getaway

We've stayed here numerous times and always have a great time. This time there was a water pressure issue that we didn't have the previous time we stayed in Nov, 2023. The kitchen was low pressure and the upstairs sink was really bad. Fortunately the showers and bath was good. We mostly hang out outside with a lot of family fishing. Great outdoor patio area! I emailed the host about the water pressure, but didn't hear back. Hopefully the water issue was a fluke or will be fixed before the next time we go. We usually don't go in summer, because like I said, we mostly hang out outside.

Nice Place

The house is very spacious and I love how it has a lot of beds. The outside space is wonderful with a large picnic table, fire pit, and chairs. They provide everything you need for canoeing/kayaking. We enjoyed staying at this house.

Enjoyed in Totality

Staying here was amazing! There was plenty of space and beds for our large family (9 adults, 2 children). We came for the total solar eclipse and it could not have gone better. At the house, we enjoyed the canoe and kayak and watching the ducks, geese, herons, squirrels, and other animals. There were lots of good places to eat. We enjoyed Granbury Town Square and the Oink Oink festival. Great family memories!

We had a wonderful time! The property was huge and beautiful! Our family enjoyed the canoes and fishing off the dock! We Will definitely book this again! It literally had everything we needed and more!!!

Great location on water in a cove

Fathers Day

WE enjoyed the stay and we are planning to be back in the future. The owner is very informative about what is expected in the property. She send a text, instruction in a note book and followed up if we needed anything. I left my knife and she offered to mail it back to me. It is a very awesome stay that all of our group enjoyed and love the stay in this property. I will recommend and would definitely be back in this place.

Love Lake Granbury

This is a wonderful location and lovely home. We had so much fun relaxing in the lake, canoeing and enjoying all things Granbury. Host was quick to respond and the home is vey quiet and comfortable.

Our second stay - perfect for our family

We stayed at this property in 2020 and came back in 2022. We usually go to a different place each year, but our family liked everything about this place so we broke tradition to come back. Chances are good we will return in the future, too.

Great location right on the lake. Kids loved fishing, swimming, and using the canoe and kayaks. Only negative is that the kitchen is really small.

Spring retreat!

Comfortable and agreeable for 5 women in search of relaxation. Room for spouses if desired with lots of space both inside and out. Great lawn and lake access is from this quite cove is very desirable. Remember to bring your ice chest. A second game table would be great if you have one for travel. Thank you Brown Family!

Home away from home

We've stayed multiple times now. It's about an hour away from where we live. It started as a place to stay for a family wedding close by during the peak of Covid in Dec, 2020, but we keep going back as a great family retreat. Our mother is 94 so of course she sleeps downstairs she doesn't go out in the kayak or do any fishing, lol. This time there was a new oven and cooktop, which was a welcome sight.! Provided we can continue to afford it, we will continue to rent this house for a great relaxing time as a mini vacation.

Great outdoor space, easy access to lake.

We were lucky enough to have fantastic weather over Christmas so we spent 90 percent of our awake time outside. The outdoor space of this property is very spacious, comfortable and the yard was perfect for our large family. We had five families of cousins, grandkids, etc on a come and go basis, with at the peak about 21 people in total of all ages. I wouldn't recommend having that many people in the house at once as it could get a little crowded, but as I said, we spent the majority of our time outdoors. Plenty of activities if the weather is nice. The host is fantastic and very accommodating. Would stay here again. Thank you!

The lakehouse is casual and comfortable and our property on the cove is fantastic for boating, exploring, swimming and endless fun in the lake. We have had 5 extended family reunions and numerous parties. The yard is sprawling and great for soccer games, volleyball, badminton and bocci ball. Exterior camera monitoring.
