The house was unique - an old farmhouse that had some updates. The property and house were a perfect retreat to return to at the end of the day's adventures!

Lovely home with plenty of space and everything we needed, from firewood to kitchen supplies. When we weren’t skiing, we chose to return to the comfort of the house rather than dining out. We were able to enjoy all our meals together and play games by the fire. Our hosts responded quickly to our needs, making sure the driveway was plowed after it snowed. A perfect spot for a family trip!

This was our second year staying at this beautiful home! Our family enjoyed the beautiful scenery and cozy atmosphere that this home brings. Our grandchildren enjoyed the outdoor playground complete with tire swing, while the older family members cozied up by the fireplace! The beds were extremely comfortable with each bedroom zoned for individual comfort. The layout of this home is perfect for family gatherings. We can’t wait to return next year!

We loved our stay! It is the perfect nature getaway nestled up on the hill. The house was equipped with everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable too. Our favorite place to relax was the patio, especially in the evenings. Very comfortable furniture. We did not get a chance to take advantage of the outdoor entertainment area, but looking forward to doing so when we return for another trip.

Excellent, attentive, easily accessible and thoroughly responsive host/s. Incredible property…a perfect mix of nature and technology to make the stay incredible in rain or shine. Our stay for our youngest’s graduation from UB will be a treasured memory for all in attendance! Thank you Tricia & Rob!

I grew up in Buffalo but now live on the other side of the state. However, most of my family is still in western New York. This property was the perfect place for my children, grandchildren & I to stay while visiting the area. The house was obviously built many years ago but there have been many improvements. We loved the open shelves with lighting under them in the kitchen. Except for the bathtub in the downstairs bathroom – an antique one – the bathrooms are updated. The upstairs bathroom has a fabulous walk in shower. My 2 grandchildren were very comfortable in the “kids” room. There are air conditioners in all of the bedrooms & the upstairs ones were used because it was quite warm when we were there. I was happy in a downstairs bedroom with an open window & the ceiling fan running.We didn’t spend much time inside. However, when inside, the large windows allow you to stay connected to the outdoors. The grounds are spacious & you feel like you are in your own world up the hill & in the woods. There's lots of wildlife to observe.The most outstanding feature of this property is the pavilion. We had a family reunion while there & the pavilion was ideal. It has electricity, a sound system & an under counter refrigerator plus a giant table as well as a smaller one. There is also a large enclosed fire pit. And with the expanse of grass, we were able to spread out & set up lawn games with room to spare. I can't imagine a better setting for a gathering.

A Nostalgic Family Christmas

This property was perfect for our children and grandchildren! There are a plethora of amenities to enjoy! The outdoor fireplace with a gazebo was a delight. The lodge was a perfect mix of a rustic atmosphere with all of the modern amenities! The downstairs bathroom had an enclosed clawfoot tub while the upstairs suite had a modern walk in shower. The four bedrooms were comfortable as each room featured zoned heating for individual comfort. The living space featured a perfect family gathering space complete with a piano, fireplace and beautiful kitchen table. The huge windows were beautiful to observe the deer and other wildlife.The long driveway leads to a scenic view. There is plenty of parking down by the road or at the top of the driveway. Our hosts made us feel welcomed by providing good communication and recommendations for local activities that were available. Not to mention the delicious Christmas cookies that awaited us when we arrived!
