This is a great house with a huge screen room over looking Lake Murray. It is very quite sitting on the deck enjoying the views. There is a large deck, dock, boat ramp, and shaded lawn. Canoe and kayak is included in the rate. The house was built in 2010 and includes hardwood flooring, washer, dryer, dishwasher, gas grill, and water cooler. There is one king, one queen, and two twin beds in three bedrooms.

The main attraction is that it is lake front on beautiful Lake Murray; however, many guest also stay while in town for weddings at the Southwind Acres, The Cotton Press, the Ole Oak Barn, and Southern Oaks.

In town for wedding

We were in town for my daughter's wedding. The host responded promptly and very accommodating when I had a special request. The view on the screened-in porch overlooking the lake was perfect for my spouse and I to enjoy a glass of wine and relax after busy days.

Great weekend on Lake Murray

Easy access to the water. Quiet deep water cove. Boat ramp on the property, beautiful screen porch, comfy beds and well appointed kitchen.

Lake House

We love this house! We have stayed here before and plan to again asap! It is clean and we love the huge screened-in porch. We put our boat in on their ramp right by the house. Also, the grandkids came for the 4th and loved the dock to swim and fish.

Perfect lake front cottage.

We were most comfortable with our stay. The big screened porch was lovely and offered a spectacular view. The house was well supplied with dishes, pans, towels, paper products, etc. It was excessively hot during much our visit which necessitated more time inside than we had anticipated. The AC was great, keeping us comfortable despite the 100 degree outside temp. Thank you for the attention to detail that made our visit so pleasant.

Great location

This location was perfect because it had an on site, shared boat ramp. We were able to leave our boat docked at the house and not have to worry about taking it out every night. The owner was very communicative.

Perfect Vacation

2nd year renting during late Oct/early Nov. Property is inviting and relaxing. Took 15min to unpack, on the lake fishing. Rented a pontoon from folks across the lake 2 days, 15min to Food Lion, 25min to asian fusion restaurant thats better than most of its kind in myrtle beach. Access to most everything incredibly simple while maintaining that 'outta the way' feel. Will continue to reccomend to friends and family. Thank You!

Beautiful, quiet get away

Property was just as listed. The drive was past some questionable properties, but the home and lake area were beautiful. Perfect for a quiet get away and owners quickly responded to questions.

This property is the “Macdaddy”!!! The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and associated necessities. No need to bring your own… The open space in the kitchen/den provides for great gathering time. The yard is large enough for kids to play yard games, while the parents enjoy chilling along the lake edge. The cove is quiet.. very little to no outside boat traffic. If you choose to vacation at this property, you will NOT be disappointed!!!

Perfect for the family

House was very clean with everything you need. Boat ramp was easy to use and dock was perfect. Very nice screen porch. Very quiet cove away from all the lake Murray boat traffic. Great vacation.

Ups and downs

We really enjoyed the lake and using the properties Kayak and paddle board. The canoe needed new oars so it wasn’t really useable, The inside had everything you could need. The master bedroom mattress needs replaced. The house is spacious. The biggest draw back for us was how far everything is away from it. This could be good if you want to just relax at the lake. We are a busy family so we did the zoo, museum, Eudora farms and rented a pontoon boat. Everything pretty much involved at least a 45 minute drive. The restaurants in town weren’t great in our opinion so that involved additional driving too,
