Red House on Canyon Lake is a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home directly on Canyon Lake. Your family will fall in love with this home's great outdoor spaces and come back for years to come. It's upper deck and lower patio are both perfectly situated to give you a view of the sun setting over the water every night. Relax with the tranquility and beauty of Canyon Lake while you grill out on the charcoal grill kept on the upper deck. Amenities include digital cable TV, central AC and heat, and high speed wireless internet access (free). Pets are welcome!

White tailed deer, foxes, roadrunners, and other wildlife are in abundance in the Texas Hill Country and especially at Canyon Lake. The Texas Hill Country is famous for its hilly terrain, live oak trees, limestone rocks, native animals, and clean fresh air.

Great local attractions include: Canyon Lake, Canyon lake Dam, Guadalupe River, Canyon Lake Yacht Club, Canyon Lake Golf Club, Canyon Lake Gorge, Heritage Museum and Dinosaur Tracks, and Gruene Hall.

Lakefront

Truly lakefront. We have stayed other places that say they are waterfront, riverfront, or lakefront, and they have no access to the actual water. This property has steps straight to the lake. We enjoyed the stay as a family.

The perfect weekend

From booking to checkout, the Hardys were amazing! They both went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable and enjoyed our stay. They answered all of our texts and emails very quickly and even went the extra mile giving us all of the local information such as the best restaurants and their hours and the closest grocery stores. When we asked for a later checkout, they immediately obliged and told us to stay as long g as we wanted and to just let them know when we left. There was a problem with the internet service (the cable company’s issue) and Mr. Hardy was immediately on top of it. They even called us later and offered another night’s stay free of charge! Too bad we had work the next day. We brought our three dogs and they absolutely loved the backyard! They were worn out from all of the playing and exercise! There was plenty of room for 6 adults with three dogs. The views of the lake were amazing and that sunset!!! The house was very inviting and had everything we needed. It was hard to leave and hopefully we will be back soon! Thank you so so much Patty and Craig Hardy!

Perfect Spot on the lake.

This place has the best sunset on the lake. It did rain most of the time we were there and can make it hard getting down to the water but worth it. My kids loved it!

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this lake house. The hosts were both friendly and accommodating. House was clean, well stocked and the views were beautiful! Having lake access for swimming right out back of house was great too. Our pooches enjoyed exploring in the fenced backyard. We will be back…

Great stay

View was beautiful. Very clean . The only thing I had issue with was the rotting wood in the yard with rebar and nails sticking out, it was a danger. The trip down to the lake was a little sketchy so make sure your footing is good and good shoes. If you have senior parents or grandparents, they would not be able to make it .

A great lake escape

This was the perfect house for us since we had puppies and kiddos with us. The fenced yard and balcony were very helpful and being right on the lake with the great sunset views was wonderful. (Kids with supervision on the balcony) We had the room we needed in the house and it just made for a wonderful and relaxing weekend.

Red lake house - Excellent stay!

Patty and Craig were super easy to work with. They were very responsive on texts, emails, and phone conversations. Great access to the lake and very close to Crane's mill marina; where we rented jet skis each day and had a blast out on the lake. The house and lake views are fantastic! We had a really good time while we were there, and would go back in a heartbeat. Thanks again, The Cole's.

Perfect getaway at the Lake

The house is very clean and has a beautiful view of the lake. Down below the house was an area that was perfect to aw and float. It is short distance to the marina. We rented a pontoon boat and jet ski. It was a perfect getaway for the family. The owners were very easy to communicate with and quick to respond to questions Such a a great weekend - we will definitely be back

Relaxing weekend

We had a very nice time staying here. Patty is a great communicator and made herself available in the event we needed anything. The home has a beautiful view of the lake from the patio. The lake is a short trek down from the house. The dogs had fun swimming in the lake and playing fetch. We took advantage of using the grill one night which was nice. We hope to come back soon!

Corona-cation!

We booked this house to escape Houston after 2 months of 'stay-at-home' orders. We desperately needed a change of scenery and to get out in nature. My sister, her dog, and my 15 year-old triplets had a fabulous time and loved the house. It was super clean and just as described. We loved the lake access so we could be on the water without having a boat, and able to still stay distant from other people. We cooked all meals at the house and only left once to rent paddle boards not far away. We enjoyed the deck both morning and night, and were treated to deer sightings throughout our stay. Patty was an excellent host and even checked in on us when there were bad storms and a tornado warning. We can't wait to rent the house again!

As a husband and wife team, Craig and I do our best to make your stay at Canyon Lake as relaxing as possible. I have been coming to Canyon Lake all my life, since I was born in 1967 as my father worked there before the lake was a lake! Some of my most fond memories are of my siblings and me with my parents, having picnics on the shore, and eventually bringing our own children to the lake for holidays. Craig and I have shared many memories on the lake since we met in 1989, and we hope to bring that same joy to you!

As parents of six great kids (ages 19-29), we try to keep our lake homes as "kid friendly" as possible. 29 years of raising children has made us experts at rolling with the punches, and we are always here to assist your stay in any way! We are happy to answer all of your questions about our lake house and the area. I hope you'll contact us today.
