Our home is located in a peaceful neighborhood surrounded by nature, and just 1 block to the bay beach! Connect with nature. You can be as active or relaxed as you like. Sun. Sand. Shells. Bikes. Birds. Bay Breezes. Kayaks. Kites. Picnics. If you can tear yourself away, You are close enough to enjoy the local attractions of Cape May and Wildwood. Most are less than 10 minutes away, but try to make it back in time for the most amazing sunsets! Take the chairs/kayaks to the beach and enjoy the show. If you have never vacationed on the Bay, don't rule it out. Cape May is famous for the most vibrant sunsets. (If you have, you know what we mean...)

Our guests will enjoy a clean, bright, comfortable house, freshly painted, with new furnishings. A little beachy, inspired by nature, with a bit of global influence.

The first floor has a living room, eat-in kitchen, laundry area, master bedroom (queen) & full bath, a second bedroom (queen) & another full bath.

The second floor can be used as one very large master suite, or as three separate sleeping areas (queen, 3 twins). Perfect for families traveling with children. There is also a third full bath upstairs.

Outside there is an over sized deck, and a fully fenced yard. Great for BBQ's and lawn games. The gated front porch is also a nice place to relax.

Our home and the bay are pet-friendly. Up to two well-behaved dogs can stay. A pet deposit is required. You can walk your dog on a leash on the bay beaches all year round.

Kayaks & vests are available for use, as well as bikes & beach chairs. And we recommend that you use all of them. Fun!

There is no smoking inside the house, please. But dancing is encouraged!

We ask that you treat our home, our neighbors, the beach & other natural surrounding areas with respect.

This was our second year staying at this home. Rich is always very good at communicating and responds promptly. The house has ample space for our group of 6. We love that each couple has their own space as well as plenty of space for the dog inside and out.

Great location - convenient walk to the bay beach, and the neighborhood is quiet. Easy 20ish minute drive into Cape May or Wildwood. Plenty of room for 4 adults plus my 1 year old and our 2 dogs! Nice fenced in yard convenient for our dogs to run around while we enjoyed sitting on the deck.

The host is very helpful and the home is so comfortable. We had a wonderful family time during our two week stay in this well-equipped Delaware Bay home. It is situated in a very cozy and quiet neighborhood, just a block away from the bay. We found it conveniently located to the Wildwoods, Cape May, the Bay, and all the amenities that the Cape has to offer. Looking forward to coming again.

Communication with the host was great. He responded quickly to any questions we had. He made helpful recommendations regarding our stay and was very accommodating. The house was clean and comfortable. The sunsets were the best, and a quick walk to see them. We would stay again if ever in the area.

We had a great stay for the week! The house was actually much bigger than we expected—it can be a little deceiving from the outside because it’s so spacious inside. The second floor had four beds, which was such a pleasant surprise and gave our blended family plenty of room to spread out.The house is in a really nice, quiet neighborhood where we enjoyed walking our dogs every night, just be on the lookout for skunks since the woods is across the street - we saw 2-3 every night on our walks. It’s also very close to the bay beach, which was perfect for our son and dogs to explore. Cape May beaches and Wildwood beaches/boardwalk were both about 20 minutes away, so the location was really convenient for enjoying everything the area has to offer.The host was great with communication, and the house had plenty of toys that our son absolutely loved playing with. We brought our own linens, but there was also a closet full of linens available if we needed them, which was a nice convenience and the house was very clean. There’s a nice sized deck with plenty of seats to enjoy the summer nights. Overall, we had a wonderful week and would definitely stay here again! It was spacious, comfortable, family-friendly, and in a great location.

Everything you could possibly need. So comfortable. It was perfect for our family. Walkable to the bay. Quick drive to the beach. Hosts were so helpful and kind. We are definitely booking again.

We enjoyed our stay, and the owner was very nice and very responsive to all questions, emails, texts, etc. He even let us check-in a day early at no extra charge! The home is clean and filled with great amenities for visiting families and GREAT if you bring your dog(s). The deck is lovely and there is a spacious fenced-in yard so your fur (and hooman) babies can play safely.The advertisement, however, is misleading in two important ways. First, yes, there are LOTS of beds. But there are only three bedrooms. Two on the first floor which each have queen size beds, and ONE on the second floor. The owners have added room dividers and pictured the beds in this ONE large room to give potential renters the impression there is more privacy available than there really is. Not great for a multi-generational family as it lacks privacy for those saying upstairs. The beach (which is a 3-4 block walk away) is wonderful for dogs, but not really for families with small children. The water goes out what looks like a mile or more leaving a not-so-kid-friendly beach for large portions of the day depending on the tides. And because it is on the bay, there is a LOT of standing water with tall reeds and such. On nice windy days it was not a big problem; on others we (including the dog) got eaten alive by the biting flies and other insects. Plan to take your water/sand loving kids to Wildwood or another nearby ocean beach and leave the bay beach for the fur-babies.

Thank you for being excellent renters, who took care of the home as if it was your own. I'm sorry you had some issues that you felt were misleading. It is never our intention to mislead anyone who rents from us and and I'm sorry if you felt that way. The listing has 3 locations where it describes the property as 3 bedrooms. In one of those locations it goes further and breaks down the actual layout of the upstairs. I agree with your assement of the bay beach, unfortunately the bays all have tides. This listing is clear this is on the Delaware Bay side, mentioned several times. Some of our greatest memories are exploring for critters and hours of sport games played on the sandbars at low tide. But I understand it is not for everyone. Thank you for staying with us, I do hope you will come back. Rich and Carissa

Perfect Home Away From Home

Peaceful paradise!

Our family and friends enjoyed our stay!! The house was beautiful and the owner had everything well organized! The owners were friendly and easy to communicate with!!! We had the best vacation we’ve had in a long time!!

Perfect family getaway.

Really enjoyed our stay! House was easy to find and was perfect for our family vacation. Nice quiet area. Kayaking was a fun adventure on the bay. Restaurants and grocery store just minutes away. Definitely a place I would stay again. Owners had great communication leading into arrival and reminders throughout the week.

Great, comfortable place

This is a very comfortable place. Three full baths, great for us. Walk to bay beach. Great sunsets. The folks who own the house are very accessible and friendly.

Great place!

The property was nicely kept and clean. Three inside bathrooms was fantastic! The place was comfortable and well decorated. The property owner was lovely and communicated well. We would go back again!

Great stay in Del Haven

An excellent house, very comfortable. Big supply of linens, kitchen utensils and beach gear. A quiet location but close enough to other areas of the cape. Very nice deck. Kayaks available.

We are originally from Northeast Pennsylvania and have been coming to vacation in Cape May for decades. We have loved all of our vacations in Cape May whether it was on the beach side or the bay side. We settled on the bay side after enjoying a more relaxed version of Cape May vacations while here. The house has been owned by our family and rented out for well over a decade and has been the location of so many memories and great vacations. We settled on this area because it is close to downtown Cape May, Wildwood and the upper Cape May area. It offers and an affordable vacation with access to the bay beaches as well as a short drive to the downtown ocean side Cape May beaches. Our hope is that you will enjoy your stay and make memories like we have.

The property is a short walk to the Delaware Bay beach. The sunsets are incredible. It is a quiet residential neighborhood with great neighbors. Please be respectful to our neighbors as you enjoy your vacation. Additionally, this property is located near grocery stores, great restaurants and anything you may need.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

I think the property's best feature is the size of the house for what you get. There are 2 large bedrooms on the 1st floor and 2 full bathrooms. The upstairs is an open style floorplan with 4 total beds (with privacy dividers) which makes it ideal for kids. It also has a full bathroom located on the 2nd floor which makes it nice when having a group staying upstairs. You can comfortably fit two or more families in this house. There is also another outdoor shower to clean off from the beach located next to a good size deck where you can just relax and have a drink with friends. It is a laid back version of the typical ocean beachside Cape May vacation while still having access to the great beaches and downtown shopping with a short drive. This house is a short walk or bike ride to the bay side beaches which I like very much. Some of our best memories are playing beach games like Spikeball or Kan Jam on the sandbars at low tide. The kids had a blast and the adults too :)
