Play foosball, air hockey, cornhole, darts, and board games galore. In the evening enjoy a campfire and watch the moon and stars over the lake. 3BR/ 2BA/ + guest cabin luxury log home. All Bosch kitchen appliances, washer and dryer included. Fireplace indoor and outdoor wood included. Connect to ATV, ORV, & snowmobile trails. Lots of parking available for trailers. Just bring food and your personal needs and everything will be ready for you.

Amazing Experience

We just spent 5 days for Thanksgiving and it was the most relaxing and wonderful family bonding time that we couldve asked for. The house was clean, fully stocked, beautiful and exactly what was advertised.

Home away from home

This was our third time visiting and as always, it was wonderful. The cabin comes fully stacked with all necessities, which made our stay very easy and stress free. Beautiful lakeside and remote location make it a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy the peace.

Fall Getaway

The cabin and lakefront views are amazing. Our dogs LOVED exploring the backyard. My husband and left our hectic lives behind and only left the Cabin to get supplies It was heaven

Perfectly named - Sanctuary Shores

This was the third year we have stayed at Sanctuary Shores and as always it was wonderful. The weather was perfect and the sunrises and moonrises were beautiful. The sound of the waves has to be the most therapeutic sound on earth and is available 24/7 at Sanctuary Shores. We had a great time and definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to sit back and relax. Bill & Marilyn

Perfect

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Sanctuary Cabin. It was the perfect getaway from the Missouri heat and humidity. The location was absolutely perfect. You are steps away from Lake Michigan and they built stairs for easy access. We had our dog with us and he absolutely loved it. The house was comfortable and well appointed. The kitchen was outstanding and the appliances were new. Plenty of everything you needed. The communication with Michael and Tori Was excellent. We had a couple simple questions and they were able to reply right away. If you were looking for a relaxing spot on Lake Michigan, I cannot recommend this spot enough!

Family gathering

Great location. Quiet, private, spacious, well-stocked kitchen, games and outdoor/yard equipment. Lots of sleeping options for our family of 12. Access to lake easy. View of lake from house amazing.

Beauty and Fun right outside your door!

We enjoyed a fun stay with our extended family including kids, teens and adults. The weather for our week was mixed but this home provided fun inside and out. The view from the great room was outstanding. On the cool rainy day we had a fire in the fireplace and played indoor games. When the sun came out, water play and games in the front lawn were a ton of fun! We also spent a day exploring both Escanaba and Menominee and fishing in Cedar River. This home had everything we needed and we loved the location. Thank you!!

Nice Getaway

This stay provided us with a nice break from the real world. Close enough to Escanaba for some interaction with other people, but secluded enough to feel like you’re the only people for miles. We had a lovely time.

5 days at the lake

We enjoyed our stay very much, this year we stayed a month earlier than last and the lake was awesome. Very nice wave action and wonderfully soothing sound. The setting is very calming and peaceful. Bill

Beautiful, Peaceful, and Perfect

Sanctuary Shores was well beyond anything we could wish for! Tori was extremely kind, patient, and generous of heart. The cabin/home was huge and yet still cozy. Plenty of space for large family vacations & yet still quiet spaces to unplug. It was impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, & had touches of coastal and northwoods charm. An impressive stone fireplace surrounded by comfy, gorgeous furniture to sink into...with expansive windows to enjoy Lake Michigan's beauty. A generous sized deck with a large, pretty dining set & lounging chairs..the lake just steps away. At night, whether on the deck or seated comfortably by the shore, the stars are truly breathtaking. There is also a large firepit by the shore..hearing the rhythmic waves while gathered 'round a fire is a wonderful way to catch up with friends & family. A large side yard was perfect for the croquet set..what fun! The garage has Foosball, air hockey, darts, etc. Rainy days won't dampen spirits at Sanctuary Shores! The kitchen is so well equipped! Top of the line appliances, earth-tone slate counter tops, and pretty white cabinets FULL of everything you could ever possibly need. A luxurious jacuzzi tub in the downstairs bathroom..with candles for relaxing ambiance. Upstairs, a large shower with a seat. The Bunk room & Lake room are perfect for children or teenagers. Vintage toys, games, & plenty of movies to watch. The guest cottage is lovely..perfect for those wanting privacy. We didn't want to leave!

Perfect Getaway

Beautiful log home on a huge piece of property right by the "Big Water" (Green Bay)! I've been coming to this area for over 50 years now and never get tired of it. This is my third time staying at Sanctuary Shores and I definitely will be back! P.S. The hosts are awesome!

Best Cabin EVER

We were so blown away by this gorgeous property. Everyone in our party of 11, from the youngest to the oldest had a fantastic time. We thought we'd be taking lots of day trips around the area to explore but we actually spent most of our time enjoying the cabin! Every bed/sleeping space was comfortable, the kitchen was better stocked than mine at home, the beach is private, we never saw another soul. We appreciated that it was dog-friendly, stocked with indoor and outdoor games, and close to lots of attractions (not that we needed them!). The hosts were so responsive and awesome to work with. We will definitely be back!

Perfect family vacation!

My family and I have had an emotional year especially after losing my father unexpectedly. Being able to vacation here with our best friends, Godson, and children was just a blessing! Our son is autistic and has a lot of sensory needs and this home was a home away from home for him. The property owners were amazing at communication and we look forward to future stays there!

Bachelor Party

This rental was beyond expectations, the scenery, the location, and the outdoors all wrapped up in one great place to stay. My brother who was the bachelor and the rest of the groomsmen all loved this cabin. And the amazing fishing in the Michigan upper peninsula area was fantastic as well. If I ever go back to upper Michigan again this will be my Go-To place to stay!

Beautiful property

We highly recommend staying at Sanctuary Shores, the property was amazing, extremely quiet and serene. The cabin was very clean, roomy and spacious and had everything one would need for their stay. We heard loons and had deer visit. We enjoyed being able to get down to the Lakeshore. Our family made lots of memories at the cabin and as we ventured to numerous sites within driving distance from the cabin. Great place and hope to visit again !

Lovely, as always!

We stayed at this cabin for a long weekend, our 8th visit! I'm pleased to report that Tori and Michael have made many upgrades in the last couple of years - both large and small, all of which have elevated the experience quite a bit. From new kitchen cabinets to updated light fixtures, and power outlets with USB -and- USB-C ports... it's a great place to stay in the summer or winter! Highly recommend, and I'm sure we'll be back.

Absolutely wonderful!!!

We spent a week enjoying this lovely place!! Our whole family enjoyed playing foos ball, darts, making puzzles and playing games! There was plenty of room and accommodations for everyone! Lots of extras such as table and chairs, movies galore, chess and checkers! Everything was well kept and very clean, you could not ask for more! I also have to mention how nice it was to be able to bring our dogs and the basket of treats and toys they had for them plus doggie dishes!! I can not say enough great things about this experience! We will definitely be back!!

We love the stunning sun rises in the morning and the mirror like calm of early morning and the sometimes gentle lapping of water and other times crashing surf in the afternoons and evenings. The beauty of watching a storm sweep across the incredible blue waters is an amazing sight to behold. The cracking fire on the beach while the sun sets and sharing stories with friends and family bring peace and serenity. Sharing favorite memories while sitting around the stone hearth fireplace in the great room warms the soul and the bones.
