This property is very clean and as described in listing. The evenings were pretty cool and the heat was not working properly [ it did not appear to be controlled in the unit, but rather appeared to be building controlled as changing the temp did not affect temperature in the apartment...got colder at night]. Host addressed concern by checking thermostat, replacing battery bc it was black..but it was unclear if they were aware/upfront about how the unit was heated. A stand alone heater was provided on the very last day-denied 1 day refund request. Vrbo only offered 50 towards renting with them again. I declined ; (

We sincerely regret that you experienced discomfort with the temperature. For clarification, our condo uses a central boiler heating system managed by the building’s HOA, rather than an independently controlled heating system. During your stay, the thermostat displayed 72°F with the heat activated and set to 74°F. Upon receiving your concern, we responded promptly, offered same-day troubleshooting, replaced the thermostat batteries, and coordinated further inspection. We also offered a supplemental heater to help ensure your comfort. Unfortunately, scheduling and communication delays limited our ability to address everything as quickly as we would have liked. While we understand your disappointment regarding the requested refund, we made every effort to respond appropriately and provide a solution while the reservation remained active. We genuinely appreciate your feedback and will continue working to ensure future guests have a comfortable experience. Thank you again for choosing our property, and we wish you all the best!

This property is in a old but safe and classic building. The elevator is kinda cool. Old, slow and small but fun.

Clean. Great location just off of Woodward ave. It takes just few minutes to walk to the people mover that will take you downtown. There's a little store on the corner that has most basic things you might need. Host was very responsive to our questions.

Nice for the price

Nice clean and comfortable apartment. Building is old and out dated so the elevator was broken and we had to use the steps and walk 3 flights other than that we enjoy the area pretty nice quiet area!!!!

The building was nice and secure. The elevator is very old,so I just used the stairs. Once inside the apartment, it was very quiet. It was hard to find parking with lots of cars just sitting on the street waiting for others to get in or out. Lots of people just hanging outside. The a/c is a window unit in the kitchen so it felt warmer in the bedroom and the living room. I had it running the whole time I was there. I would have felt a lot safer with an additional lock on the door. But the longer I stayed, the better I felt The bed is very comfortable and the shower is great. It just takes a bit of time for the water to get hot. Affordable and close housing for travelers working at Henry Ford.
