Really enjoyed this stay at Wintergreen. Nice and cozy condo, well heated, easy to access, clean and comfortable. Host responded to concerns and they seem to be addressing well. Great value and would return with our family.

Charming condo with all the comforts you need for a great mountain getaway. I twisted my ankle on the slopes and ended up spending more time in the condo while the kids stayed out and I was completely comfortable and enjoyed the coziness.

We stayed here as a family of four for two nights. The location is very convenient—close to the ski resort we were visiting. The condo is well renovated, cozy, and warm, which was perfect for the cold days. The host was very responsive to our questions. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily return.

Adorable, very well kept place with eveything you need inside. Only disappointment was that we came with our children and its advertised(and privately asked many months ago ) with a pool and hottub available and when we tried to go we were told only homeowners were allowed and had to be on a list and have a key.

Hi April. We are glad you found our place comfy and enjoyed your stay. Sorry about the pool confusion. We updated our description of the pool amenities to outdoor, community pool on our listing when we were notified the indoor pool club rules changed. You should have gotten an alert on your booking of this amenity update. Again sorry for the confusion. The outdoor pools and hot tub access is adding guests names, then you show your ID.

We had an amazing weekend. We had a little bit of a challenge on the first day with the door lock, but it was addressed very quickly, and Kim and Tammy were great. The condo was clean, cozy, and met all of our needs.

Stay at the Nest

We enjoyed our stay at the nest. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need. The wood burning fireplace was a plus. We will definitely consider staying at this location again.

We were very happy with the place. It was in a good spot on the mountain. All the features worked and we had a great time. Wintergreen Resort was fun for our 4 year old and it was easy for the parent to relax. We had to make a noise complaint the first night and the officers responded within 5 minutes and it was kindly and swiftly handled. We would 100% stay here again.

Wondeful property and amenities, a great place to stay for anyone wanting to enjoy a convenient and comfortable four minute drive to Wintergreen, I will come back again anytime I come to Wintergreen. Mario and Kim were phonomenal.

Ski Weekend at Wintergreen

Overall place was very nice and close to where we needed to be at Wintergreen. Enjoyed the fireplace at night. The only thing we wished we had was some more information on whether we could use a shuttle to Wintergreen to save on parking during the day. We visited the Appalachian Trail on Sunday and did a quick hike before heading home (less than 10 minutes from VRBO). Thank you!

It was clean, my daughters said their beds were very comfortable, there’s plenty of dishes, containers, etc. What I believe is inaccurate is saying there’s air conditioning when there’s a very old built in wall unit that doesn’t work. The worst part was having the condo’s temperature reach 78 degrees because there were no instructions on how to turn it off and we had to reach out and ask. I understand that this is a ski resort and that’s the busy time so heat is needed. However, it was 85 degrees outside while we were there so not having air and an overheated condo was not ideal. Being told to open the window did nothing. Unfortunately, this was not the worst part. Finding a roach in the bathtub and several large carpenter ants in the same bathroom was very disturbing. Once again I reached out and was told the cleaning person would check it out the next day at 10am, to which I responded that’s not helpful because we check out at that time and I’ve never received any response back. What I believe should have happened was a response of sending some kind of bug spray to show some level of concern. Wintergreen itself was very nice and tranquil but make sure you go to the grocery store before you arrive because the mini grocery store is very expensive. A can of green beans cost 3.39!

Great Wintergreen Stay!!!

I'm long-winded so I'll try to keep this short...The Good: -clean condo.. easy check-in... everything you need and a few little extras.-Spacious enough for our family of 5 (two teen boys and 9yr old girl)-Easy to find and easy check in/ check outThe Great:-VERY comfortable mattresses.-Bunk room were QUEEN size beds. this was awesome for our kids.-covered Dry firewood right on the balcony! (the firewood out in the parking area is wet and unusable).-the little extras like firestarter, boot/glove dryer, quality coffee maker, etc.The bad:Nothing really! We had a few questions and Kim responded promptly!

It was a very hot and somewhat stormy 4th of July. But we had a great time during the visit and very appreciative of the air conditioning. That was definitely a highlight and lifesaver. Did I mention it was around 90 degrees and very humid on top of the mountain? Typical 4th of July in Virginia.

It’s quiet but close to all the activities and fantastic views. The bright space was what drew us to pick this as our place to share as a host. We love the area and all the local eateries and breweries and wineries. Not to mention the history and shopping in nearby places.
