Wintergreen Pet-Friendly Condo: Walk to Mountain Inn & Slopes

Ours is a 2-bedroom condo just 0.2 mile (3 minute walk) to the top of the Blue Ridge Express lift, in the Mountain Village of Wintergreen!

Play on the mountain but enjoy peace & quiet in our condo versus slope-side, where the lights and sounds of the grooming equipment at night can be a disturbance.
We are pet friendly, so the 4-legged babies don't have to stay home!

Things to love about our condo: The wood-burning fireplace in the living room (firewood is provided outside), a fully equipped kitchen w/dual coffee brewer, the comfy sectional sofa & snuggly blankets in the storage ottoman, WiFi, Roku TVs, a stocked games/puzzles/books closet, & a cuddly bear climbing a lighted tree.
We have a king bed w/luxurious linens & a full bathroom with walk-in shower downstairs; 1 queen bed and 1 twin bed w/cozy linens upstairs in the loft bedroom with its own bathroom. (Please note that the loft bedroom has a half-wall that overlooks the living room, does not have a door, and has a sloped "chalet" ceiling.) There's also a bonus "game cave" off the loft with a Wii and beanbag chairs for kids or the young at heart.

This cute little condo was a wonderful place to relax. It was well-equipped, convenient to places of interest, and very comfortable. It had everything we needed. Our pup loved it, too. We look forward to returning.

Beautiful condo close to the Mountain Inn. Kitchen is well stocked and the owners provide a lot for your furry companions. We had a great time hiking the trails and coming back for a quiet evening. Wonderful place to stay and I can't wait to come back!!

We had a great stay! This place has all we could need. We were able to cook what we wanted with ease. We appreciated having a real coffee maker and not just a Keurig. Loved that it was pet friendly. I had a question for the owner and received a very quick response which was greatly appreciated. Overall, would recommend!

We had another great stay at this property with our son and dog. Everything is well-stocked and organized. It is very clean and user-friendly for a property that allows dogs, even supplying a large dog crate. The location is perfectly situated near the lodge and hiking trails. We will be back!

This property is well - equipped and well organized so that anything needed is easily found. There are many extras that make this unit feel like home-away-from-home. The layout was perfect for my husband and me and my cousin, plus our little dog. The deck was a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We visited in May, not to ski but just to enjoy the setting. There was a nice trail nearby for exercise and walking the pup. We had a great weekend. I highly recommend this VRBO rental.

We enjoyed our stay at this condo immensely. It was comfortable, clean, well organized, and very welcoming for pets. Small details like comfortable beds, soft linens, a well stocked kitchen and bathroom items really made a difference. Thank you for creating such a welcoming space for our family and pets.

All the comforts of home. Quiet and comfortable. Just as advertised. Only one very minor suggestion is to provide a baby gate for the stairs. My pup definitely liked exploring upstairs which kept us on our toes. If I had been thinking I would have packed ours.

Thanks for the kind words! We've considered a baby gate for the stairs but we just can't quite figure out where to attach it that doesn't damage the wall or the banister. Our younger dog liked to explore upstairs also, but we found that putting our suitcases with pillows on top deterred him until he learned to stay downstairs.

We had a wonderful time! The condo was perfect for our family of 4 with 2 small dogs. The condo was clean, well laid out, and very well stocked. It had everything we needed and more! The communication with the host was super fast and helpful. We already booked for next year!

Everything about our stay was great. The hosts were communicative and self check in was easy and smooth. We have stayed in 5-6 Wintergreen rentals over the years and this condo is by far the most clean and well-stocked we have experienced. It is very comfortable and cozy for a small family and the location is great -- easy walk to dining and skiing.

Great location. A very quick walk to the slopes. The home is very clean and fully stocked with anything you could need. A very responsive host. This was our third year staying there for the Presidents’ Day weekend..

Wintergreen was our first choice for a vacation home because it’s close to our metro Richmond residence yet it is a retreat from the hustle and bustle of our lives. The world is calmer and more relaxed here. Our Three Ridges location conjures a similar vibe: Close walking distance to the slopes, restaurants, and the action, yet nestled just far enough to provide peace and serenity. Cozy, warm, and inviting, our condo evokes a “lodge feel” with its stone fireplace, exposed beams, and the loft bedroom. Comfortable furniture and mattresses, soft bedding, streaming TVs, and a cuddly bear climbing a tree in our living room coax a desire to snuggle in for a long winter’s nap or hide away from the summer heat. The full-size washer and dryer are necessities, while the loft 'game cave' is a unique, unexpected bonus space. Our dogs eagerly anticipate the car ride that brings them back to Wintergreen and our condo. We, and they, welcome you and hope you love our mountain getaway as much as we do.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

The stacked-stone fireplace wall and the climate-controlled bonus room off the loft, which we use as a game room for kids, are unique to our condo. The interior is fully upgraded. Vintage ski-themed artwork, exposed beams, the newly renovated walk-in shower, and our cuddly tree-climbing bear help our condo feel like a home away from home, rather than a generic hotel room. All linens, towels, paper goods, & cleaning supplies are included. We have a stocked game closet for family fun after a day of skiing or for less than ideal weather. Often, we have coffee, tea, & hot cocoa in the cabinet above the microwave. And, we allow pets!
