Birkie Haven - an exceptional vacation home experience !

Birkie Haven is a quiet cabin with modern conveniences, nestled in 450 acres of forest, far away from city lights, offering privacy and tranquility — perfect for unwinding in peaceful surroundings. This two bedroom well-appointed cabin boasts 14 kilometers of trails right outside your door for hiking, biking, skiing (groomed) or snowshoeing — and the trails connect to the Birkie and CAMBA trails! You'll have access to a lockable shed for your skis, bike, waders, fishing tackle, etc. Relax by the outdoor fire pit and deck or retreat up to the cozy loft (accessible by shipladder/staircase) complete with Roku TV, board games, cards or curl up with a book and enjoy a glass of wine at the pub table overlooking the trails. There is an office area set up for Work-From-Home with free high speed WiFi/internet Both bedrooms have queen beds. Both bedrooms and bathroom are on the first floor. Office desk, large screen TV, and Pub Table are in the 2nd floor loft. Fiireplace in dining area. Shower/bathtub, hair dryer, soaps. Washer/dryer. A/C and ceiling fans. Ample parking for your fishing boat. Gas grill. Kitchen is fully equipped including various coffee makers (drip, Chemex, Keurig, Pixie Nespresso). Short distance to the Namekagon River kayak and canoe launch. Five minute drive to Hayward for dining, shopping, Fishing Hall of Fame, miniature golf, go carts. No smoking, no pets. Damage deposit withheld for smoking or pet situations. Not suitable for children or disabled due to the ship ladder access to the loft. Thank you for viewing and we look forward to your visit

It was so BEAUTIFUL and quiet. We came for our anniversary weekend and it was so peaceful. Very easy access for trail riding with our side by side!

Birkie Haven was a haven indeed! We stayed two nights with another couple and found the accommodations to be perfect for the 4 of us. We cooked dinner one light and the kitchen is very well equipped. The gas grill worked and was very clean. The location was optimal for the activities we had planned.

This is a beautifully decorated, immaculate property close to town but in a tranquil setting. The hosts have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. We felt very much at home. We hope to come back again in the fall or winter.

Had a great time at the Birkie cabin. We had everything we needed to make us comfortable and feel at home. Very clean and appreciated the convenience of having a kitchen along with a washer & dryer.

WOW factor! An immaculate, comfortable, clean and updated cozy cabin stocked with all of the amenities, in a gorgeous wooded and quiet location not very far from Hayward center. There are plenty of supplies available to enjoy both the outdoors as well as indoors. The host was superb in communicating and was so accomodating and friendly! This place feels brand new, homey and spacious. We come to Hayward to see family so this one is staying on our list to book again!!! I cannot say enough about it except that its absolutely phenomenal!

What a great cabin! We loved hopping in the ski trail right out the door. The cabin had a well-stocked kitchen for eating in. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Very nice stay! Comfy cabin and the trails were great for November skiing. Everything in the description matched our experience - including the stairs to the loft; definitely be aware of that if you might have difficulty navigating stairs (or have smaller children).

Gorgeous, immaculately kept cabin. Perfectly quiet and comfortable stay for my daughter and I for our xc ski weekend. Conveniently close to local amenities and the Birkie xc trail system, but just far enough removed to feel the North Woods vibe. Responsive, friendly host. Absolutely staying here again in the future.

Fantastic Cabin

We had a wonderful weekend, the cabin is beautiful, spotless and Jennifer is a fantastic host. We will definitely stay again.

Super duper cute and cozy while still being spacious. Would be perfect for a couples get away. Kitchen was well stocked and the set up was convenient for cooking. Very close to trails and perfect distance to town while still making you feel like you're out in the middle of the woods. Host was very kind and communicative!
