This terrific house in Republic with a large deck and grill is a cozy retreat for guests. With 3 bedrooms including 2 queen beds and 2 twin beds, and new carpeting, this amazing property offers a comfortable stay. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like heating, iron, washing machine and dryer in basement, hair dryer, and downstairs AC, bedding and towels. The bathroom is well-equipped for your needs. It is close to snowmobile and UTV trails, as well as Lake Michigamee and Michigamme River for fishing. Peter's True Value at 174 Evergreen St, is just up the road for gas or any hardware and misc. food supplies. Circle K gas station is 10 miles on the corner of Hwy 95 and Hwy 41. Marquette MI is 37 miles and beautiful Picture Rock is 81m (1.75hrs). Copper Harbor and the sites along the way is 131m (2.5hrs). Porcupine Mtns is about 2hrs. This older home has no doors on the bedrooms. It does not have internet, but there are plenty of DVD's for adults and children. There are two televisions with DVD players. One in the living room and one is upstairs queen room. It is not handicap accessible. The yard is fenced for your dog. Our place will help you feel at home while you're traveling in Republic.

Great property with easy access to get in. Location was nice to be close to other things in the UP. One thing we didn't notice in the listing was that the one bed is in a loft and the other rooms don't have doors. It wasn't an issue for us, but would be if you're sharing with multiple couples.

Victoria was very helpful Host.. house was clean and comfortable.. very easy to get around.. Definitely would stay again!! Would also like to get up there during the summer and fall!

Only one ac unit and it’s in the kitchen, all the rooms were up stairs, was there during a heat wave and couldn’t even sleep upstairs in the room

Great spot for snowmobilers

Stayed here with a fried for a snowmobile weekend. House was very comfortable and clean. Is about 3 miles of road riding to get to the trail. I would stay here again!

Great place

We stayed for 5 days/4 nights. It is a comfy older home, nicely decorated with lots of room. The host thought of pretty much anything you could need while on vacation and quickly responded to all communication. The furniture and beds were comfortable and our dog loved the porch and yard. We were there for a music festival and hope to come back again next year!

It was kind of neat to stay in a place 2 houses down from the house I was raised in and went to school right across the street! The property I stayed in was remarkable! My stay was 3 weeks. I stayed by myself but there was room for a large family. It was well set up. A laundry room down in the basement. The dishwasher came in handy. It's about 20 miles from a grocery store. Less than 10 miles from a gas station. The host was easy to contact. The property had a fenced in yard. The town was quiet. I recommend this property to anyone with a family for a summer vacation. Nice place for a short stay! Leaving a 4/5 because the front door in the living room didn't have a functional lock, went to lock the screen door, and found a wasp nest in between the two doors. It's a small town, but having functional door and window locks when staying in a new area is a must for me.

It is an old house with old house issues, but we expected that for the price. It was very very cold outside when we arrived and it took a long time for the house to warm up. But there were space heaters provided that helped. It was clean and very homey and provided what we needed other than the groceries we brought. The host was great. She responded immediately when we had a problem with the kitchen door I would stay there again.

This house was unsafe. I came back to the house and three times the door was unlocked and open. After the third time I packed and moved to a hotel in Marquette, even though I had five days left on the rental.I have now lost 500. I notified the manager and she never called me back.
