Convenient location, a lot of amenities, and beautiful well equipped kitchen. House does not have AC and can get quite warm at night, also bathrooms did not have any shampoo/ body wash

Great house for a large number of guests. 3-story house. Top and bottom floor are bedrooms, the middle floor is the living space. What I don't think was advertised (or I overlooked it) but was presently surprised with was the movie theatre downstairs. It had a wall of iconic DVD's and seating for (from what I can recall) about 8 people. The pool table, the bar, the multiple bathrooms, and the two living/relaxing rooms were very much appreciated.The place was impressive, a true mansion, and in a great location. Highly recommend.

Very mixed feelings about this property. It's a great house - large and very accommodating for a big group, with plenty of space inside and out. It has great character, very detailed woodwork, is in a good general location (though I would not state it is in walking distance to anything - it's alongside the main highway that would be a little sketchy to walk along) and has tons of kitchen items/books/toys.However, the house is in dire need of some routine/general maintenance and decluttering. There were multiple windows without screens (open windows are a necessity in a house without AC in the summer), some internal doors (including a shower door) that did not close properly, many burnt out light bulbs, random screws/nails that were sticking out, very loose patio decking and railings and a questionable refrigerator. I will say that the property manager I worked with was great with communication and quickly available to assist both prior to and during the stay.

Great location, large property

Easy check-in experience. Strict policy on guest count. Somewhat dated property with some appliances in need of repair. Bring toiletries as no shampoo, conditioner, or body wash is provided. Overall great time in Lake Tahoe thanks to this property

Mansion Perfect for Fun! - Excellent Owner/Property MNG

Communication with property manager was top notch. Response was immediate, kind, thoughtful. House is HUGE! So much space. House was fun, everyone loved the movie room. I highly recommend this house.

Missing Tahoe already

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the experience was a good one. Booking was easy, location was fantastic. Quick drive to S Lake Tahoe and to Incline village. It snowed pretty good the night before we arrived. Driveway was snowy and being steep that was concerning- but not slick. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Nice kitchen. Lots of stairs and steps. We don’t have anyone with mobility issues so we were fine- but just be aware.

The location and amount of space were the highs of this stay. Unfortunately, when we arrived, there was still trash on the grounds (which we had to clean for about an hour) and multiple items (grill, indoor grill on stovetop, lack of water pressure and warm water, tv, etc) just didn’t work. Additionally, there was a good size leak in the ceiling downstairs that we notified them of—a plumber was sent out and didn’t fix it so the water just kept coming down. The management company was really non-helpful. We were all coming in from plane rides away, so when we asked if they had certain items to cook with, they just said that they weren’t advertised even though the listing states that one of the amenities is the kitchen. The place would be really nice if it was updated and a new management company was used. Overall we were disappointed.

Zephyr Cove Mansion

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is beautiful but there are some issues that I feel need to be addressed. Since there is no a/c, it would've been nice if all the windows had screens and every room had an available floor fan. Also, the home theater was basically useless. We couldn't figure out how to play a movie (and we had some pretty tech savvy women with us). The property owner did offer to come out, but we told them not to worry about it. Maybe some instructions on how to use the system would've been nice. 1 of the pillows had mold all over it, and the floors were really dusty. There was no hot water in 2 of the showers. We let the owner know but a plumber didn't show up until our last full day and could only fix 1 of the showers. Some of the recliners in the living room and theater did not work properly. Overall, I think this property is in desperate need of maintenance and some TLC. The location of the property is great! Close to Zephyr Cove and the strip. Riva's restaurant is a must!

This house is vast, with a lot of bedrooms and toys and stuff for kids. Not a far drive from South Lake and a nice beach 1 mile up the road
