“Thank you for the 10/10 review and glad you enjoyed the home.  Thank you for highlighting the below items.  The feedback is appreciated. The sauna needs to preheat 45-60 minutes prior to use and quick entry/exit must be made to maintain heat.  A technician has also been scheduled to make sure all is working OK. Apologies for the non-functioning griddle, it had been previously working. A repair person is scheduled to review/fix. We have never had a report of the a bed being uncomfortable or needing replacement.  This will be checked and corrected as needed. Will make sure to address not enough kitchen towels or hot pads.” Cheers please come back soon !

Unfortunately, county regulations for vacation home rentals in the Lake Tahoe area strictly prohibit street parking, and exterior video monitoring is required to ensure compliance. In this instance, the car wasn’t moved until we contacted you, and we were obligated to act. We truly didn’t anticipate that this would become a point of contention, and we apologize for it. We always aim to handle these situations with care and respect, and in most cases, a quick message resolves things easily. We apologize that this felt disruptive to you. Regarding your concern about an odor in the kids’ bedroom: we’re very sorry to hear this. We take cleanliness extremely seriously, and the home has always maintained a strict no-pet policy. We’ve never received similar feedback, and after your departure, our team conducted a thorough inspection and didn’t detect any unusual smells. No additional cleaning was required beyond our standard process, and subsequent guests haven’t reported any similar issues. That said, we truly wish you had let us know during your stay—we would have responded immediately and done everything we could to address it. We’re sorry you felt uncomfortable and didn’t feel able to reach out at the time. Regarding the bedroom near the hot tub, we appreciate your thoughts. You’re the first guest to raise this concern, and we apologize that it felt unsettling to you. The owner will absolutely take your feedback into consideration. To clarify, the hot tub is situated in a separate room, with a hallway, laundry area, and half bath located between it and the bedroom. The bedroom itself is a spacious king room on the lower level, and while nearby, it’s not directly connected to the hot tub space. We’re truly sorry that parts of your stay didn’t meet your expectations. Your feedback is important to us, and we appreciate you taking the time to share it. Dear Chris, We’re sorry to hear that you had a less than satisfactory experience. I would like to address each of your concerns: Maintenance and Water Leak: Our maintenance personnel are alerted by alarms when a leak occurs, allowing us to act swiftly to prevent water damage with our innovative water systems. Julio, our head of operations, noted in his report that he requested permission before entering your house, respecting privacy laws and minimizing disruption to your vacation. Cameras: We have only three cameras on the property, all facing public outdoor areas to ensure bear and car safety. We prioritize our guests' privacy and use these measures solely for safety purposes. Towels and Housekeeping: We provide four towels per bedroom, with additional spares in the bathrooms. If you needed more towels, you could have requested them from our maintenance staff. Regarding cleanliness, we wish you had brought any issues to our attention immediately, as our housekeeping team takes great pride in their work and has not received complaints before. The housekeeping fee reflects the size of the house, which is 6,569 square feet with nine bedrooms. High Fees During 4th of July: You booked a three-night stay during the 4th of July, a peak period, which is why the rates were higher. We guarantee that we have a 24/7 crew dedicated to ensuring our guests have the best experience possible.
