Communication was great. Plenty of info on the area and recommendations of things to do and see. Checkin was easy and the house neat and met our needs. Great family vacation.

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The home was spotlessly clean and well-stocked with everything we needed — truly a home away from home. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and the host was incredibly accommodating and responsive throughout our trip. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Maine and would love to come back!

Great stay! The house has been very recently renovated and is quite nice. The air conditioning was a great addition! The property is well appointed and had everything we needed for a great stay. The kids loved the garage game room. We would definitely rent this house again.

We traveled with 3 teenagers, a set of parents, and a set of grandparents. This home offered a fantastic location away from the crowds and traffic, but was still close enough for quick trips to shopping, exploring, and all locations on MDI. The home was spotless and exceptionally clean. Our family contends with a number of environmental and food allergies, so the cleanliness from guest to guest had us worries, but those worries faded upon arrival. The game room was a nice touch after long days or during unfavorable weather. All the bedrooms had enough space to feel luxurious without being gaudy. Overall, this property was amazing all-around. Can't wait for our next trip!

Private, quiet place

About a 25 min drive to downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia park. House was recently renovated, clean, private and nice location. Fun game room in detached garage. Enjoyed our stay and would rent again.

Great house, nice updated home close to sonmuch stuff. Kitchen is equipped with everything you need. We cooked breakfast everyday and a couple dinners. We felt like we had what we needed. Gameroom was fun. We were grateful for the fans in the bedrooms. Beds were comfy. And we also appreciated the washer and dryer. It's really close to Bar Harbor and Acadia, so convenient. We had a great stay.

The perfect vacation home! We had a wonderful stay at Justin & Danielle’s house as our home base while visiting Acadia NP. The house had everything you could think of including lots of entertainment options for our rainy day. It was incredibly comfortable for our group of 8. Ellsworth was a cute town very conveniently located to Acadia. Justin was very responsive when we had a question and had provided great recommendations in the guest binder. We had a wonderful trip and this house was definitely part of the experience.

We opted to stay in Ellsworth during our trip to visit Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. This home's location was great and allowed for easy access to both. The house was in great shape and the kids really enjoyed the game room. The kitchen was stocked with cooking supplies and we saved money by eating breakfast and dinner there. I traveled with my kids and my best friend and her kids. It worked out perfectly because at night my family took the upstairs and hers the downstairs. The laundry onsite was an added bonus. I definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.

Comfortable home for our family of 8. Easy access on a slightly busy road. Amenties were good. We enjoyed roasting marshmallows over the fire, cooking meals over the fire, and grilling outdoors as well. Home had not been cleaned when we arrived, but that appeared to be an anomaly. Owner quickly rectified the situation and refunded one night's stay. Wonderful Maine vacation!

Home Base for Exploring Acadia

The home was clearly updated recently. It was clean and fresh all around. The garage play area was a huge hit with the kids (and adults too)! The location is well positioned for exploring Acadia and easily accessible to Bar Harbor. We felt safe during our stay in the area. The only downside was lack of air conditioning, as it got to be uncomfortably hot in the house, particularly upstairs. Although all rooms were equipped with fans, it was still very hot. Would recommend!

The house was nicely renovated with a large sitting area dominated by a large tv. Also, the garage was turned into a teen-paradise game room with a nice ping pong table. Double goal foul shot basketball game, a nice foossball game., and some kind of electronic crossover game that blends wheel of fortune with some kind of slot machine. Anyway it keeps the kids happy and away from the adults.

Wonderful stay! The house is modern and clean, and the game room was great for adults and kids. We used the fire pit (there’s a roadside place to buy fire wood just down the street). There’s a/c and fans in each bedroom. It’s close to Hannaford & Walmart. One night we ate @ Casa Jalisco, great Mexican place just up the road. Close to Acadia NP and Bar Harbor and at a much more reasonable price. Everything was great!

This house was newly updated, very clean, and well furnished. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals, but we ate out most of the time. A “real” table would be a little better to eat at, though. The furniture in the living room was comfortable, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable as well. Our only complaints are minor, and didn’t affect the number of stars, but they would have made our stay better. First, the bedrooms really need curtains. When you’re located in a place that gets light before 5 am, you don’t want the sun shining in when you’re on vacation. It was a very annoying aspect of this house for all of us. Second, the game room needs chairs. The instructions say we’re not allowed to move furniture but there’s no place to sit in the game room except a gaming chair on the ground. Even a few folding chairs would be nice. Lastly, and very minor, but still should be noted, is hangers in the closet. I don’t like to live out of a suitcase but had to because there was no place to hang my clothes. Overall a great place to stay but I hope the owners take these suggestions to make it better for guests. Cleanliness is the number one thing that makes or breaks a place, and this house was very updated and clean.
