This charming 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom haven is surrounded by lush greenery and offers a view of the nearby river, creating the perfect backdrop for relaxation. Outside, you’ll find a private firepit, a picnic table, and a gas-powered grill. It's perfect for unwinding under the stars, roasting marshmallows or sharing stories by the crackling flames.
While the cottage feels wonderfully remote, it’s close to a variety of outdoor adventures and local attractions. Hike scenic trails, kayak or fish in the river, or explore Pleasantville’s quaint town center, brimming with antique shops, farmers’ markets, and cozy eateries. In the winter, the area transforms into a peaceful wonderland, perfect for snowshoeing or enjoying the quiet beauty of the season. Whether you’re looking to reconnect with nature or simply get away from it all, Eagle's Peak Cottage offers the ideal combination of seclusion, comfort, and adventure.
NOTE: There is a second bedroom in a DETACHED section of the cottage. The bunkhouse is right beside but not attached to the main building (see photos).

The property was clean and neat. The bathroom and kitchen were well-stocked with anything you would need for your stay. The location was peaceful and quiet. The host was easy to communicate with.

We love staying here after 2 days of kayaking and island camping. It has everything you need. This is our second stay and it has always been clean and convenient. Best suited for those doing similar activities to us, or hunting. The sportsmans bar nearby has excellent food.

The location was very good, quite. The area was in the Alligany National Forest. It was peaceful and remote, and we still had internet connection. Our visit had good weather, which was very fortunate. All and all a good trip. I will make plans for a repeat trip.

It’s a camp. They had wood for the fire and coffee for us. What more do you need? It was clean and roomy! A small girls getaway it was great. Walking distance to a bar restaurant with good food! We will be back.

Clean nice little place. Worked out great for me. Only thing is if you have a bad or weak back the beds are pretty soft. ( for my liking).

This cottage is fantastic as are the hosts! They provide everything that you need from kitchen, utensils, pillows extra blankets, toiletries, anything you would need. They make it very comfortable clean and homey. We have stayed at both of their properties because we loved it so much.

This place was perfect for my needs. Has a washer and dryer and great internet. There is a slightly uphill 30ft driveway that is quite bumpy, so if you have a vehicle that rides low to the ground I would recommend not driving that vehicle. This wasn't an issue for me, but I just figured i would give an heads up. Otherwise I had a great time!

It was a nice place for an overnight stay with a nice view. We had some confusion when we came even after reading the instructions and pulled up to the property next door. Thankfully the people staying there helped us find our rental. We also were confused initially when we only found one bedroom in the main house when the pictures showed 3 bedrooms. There is really just one bedroom with a double bed in the main house, a pull out in the living room, and then the bunk beds are in a converted detached garage behind the house. My teens loved the bunk house, but if you plan on using for younger children just be aware that the space is separate from the main house.

We had such an amazing stay this weekend. From the moment we arrived, everything was welcoming, clean, relaxing, and just overall perfect. The atmosphere was cozy, peaceful, and exactly what we needed for a little getaway.Every detail was well taken care of, and you can really tell they care about giving people a great experience. Definitely one of those places that leaves you already talking about coming back before you even leave. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, memorable stay!

Eagles Peak was absolutely adorable. We had a great experience. The place was clean, smelled great, and had many good amenities. The bunk house is a converted garage for those with kids, but is very cute! The kitchen has anything you may need. The fireplace was perfect. Everything was amazing!!

Was a great couple months during winter. Had what we needed. Was cozy and the wildlife around was great to watch daily. Would book again. On negative temperature nights it got a little chilly but was sufficient. Driveway during snow was tough but all in all very happy with Eagles Peak Cottage!!
