The property was perfect for what we were doing. Very close to nice restaurants and both the pier and back beach!

Reached out about having dead bugs. Plus photos was very deceiving. No one responded. Had a fire across the street, no fault of our host, but could not enjoy our last night because they had everything blocked off. So we could not get our car to drive anyplace. Plans was to go to Savannah, which we had to cancel.

The check in process was simple and easy. The beach is a 5 minute walk, close to the pier/boardwalk, shops and restaurants. The neighborhood was quiet and perfect! I love that everything is so close on islands! When it came to the quality of this apartment, it was very low, the pictures don’t do justice to what you see in life. The bathroom/shower/laundry room is awkward and doesn’t make sense. I was brushing my teeth in the kitchen and doing dishes in the bathroom….. The bathroom/shower door is on rails so there’s a huge gap that you can see right into whoever is on the toilet. The two outdoor showers didn’t work. The floor is a garage cement floor, so I felt like I needed my flops on constantly even in the shower. The house is currently up for sale, so I get the sellers don’t want to spend money on cosmetic upgrades, but a little bit goes a long way. At the end of the day, we had a bed to sleep in and a bathroom to use and I’m grateful for that but we did end of changing our reservation to move to a condo on the north beach.

We enjoyed visiting Tybee Island, but the rental was not good! The dehumidifier alarm went off 2-3 times daily, once during every night. There was not a stove or oven to cook simple meals. Also, the television picture was not good. There was not a good place to wash dishes. We had to do dishes in the laundry room sink and use bath towels to dry. Disappointed.

Love this house on Tybee. Only the downstairs is available for rent but it's perfect if you're traveling alone or with one or two small children. A couple with children might find the bedroom a little cramped since it only has a full size bed but was perfect for me. There were complaints about the shower in an earlier review but I found it to be just fine. Remember, you're staying downstairs in a beach house. I grew up in Savannah and on Tybee so was complete OK with a concrete floored bathroom. It was clean, water was hot, and shower had great pressure. Some may find the toilet area a little cramped but it was fine for me. Only downside is that there is not a sink in the bathroom. You have to use the one in the kitchenette. There was a washer and dryer to use and they even provided a couple of laudry detergent pods. The AC worked well and the furnishings and decor are very nice. Looking forward to staying there on my next trip to Tybee.
