Nice apartment on the edge of town, 20 minute walk to the central park, which means it's quiet at night but still has nice cafés, restaurants etc within walking distance. It's small but has enough room for 6 people, with good separation of bedrooms. In general, it had everything we needed, full kitchen, soap and shampoo, even coffee/tea and some welcome pastries. Ana was attentive and fixed the one communications glitch we had quickly. Pool was a lovely addition.

My family and I had an amazing time. Communication and accommodations were wonderful. The house was a short walk to all the best spots and we always felt safe. We look forward to coming back and sharing Casa Las Mariposas with friends and family!

We had a great stay of one month here. The house is very clean, and has everything we need. There is even a first aid kit, a drinking station on the 2nd floor. We felt at home. The community is also very safe. Our kids (9 and 11 years old), played with other kids in the community every afternoon, until darkness. There isn’t air conditioning, and we never felt the need of air conditioning. It’s cool inside the house. We love this house, will definitely come back again in future summers .

Hello,Thank you for your help with the stay! Everything was great but the property mentioned it had A/C when we arrived there was no A/C therefore we had a bit of a hard time sleeping.

One of the best vacations homes I have ever been in. The house had every small detail set up for guests. The beds were comfortable!! The kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms were all stocked with everything I could have needed. The neighborhood was beautiful and safe My 7 and 6 year old kiddos loved the rooftop dinners and community pool. We hope to come back. Easily a 5 star rating!!

Absolutely loved our stay here. Spacious, quiet, 5-10 minute walk to anywhere in town. Property is amazing, you don’t get any of the in center of the town noise which is a big thing to keep in mind. Highly recommend!

Perfect location and setup for families

So much to say! We loved our stay so much we booked another couple of nights a few weeks later. The place has all that is needed for a comfortable stay and the location is really ideal. Brought two young kiddos that loved the pool and nearby access to the language schools. The place is well equipped, clean, and Ana was very accommodating and supportive when our flight required a late night check-in.

Ample space, well kept, and easy access to Antigua

Ana was wonderful and we loved every aspect of our stay at Casa Mariposas! The house and surroundings delivered as promised and surpassed our stringent expectations. We have been staying in numerous Antigua rentals over the past 10 years and this is at the top of the list...very professionally run and comes highly recommended, which is why we plan to go back! Great place for families, safe/quiet, with easy access to most everything.

First visit to Antiqua

We only stayed a couple of days. The house was set up perfectly. The host was very responsive during our stay. The decorations, photos give this place a very "at home" feel. The view from the top of the home is perfect. We had a nice view of the volcano. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils for making nice dinners. It is close distance to walk around Antigua, and the store is less then a 10 minute drive.There's a few books and games available.Its a very family friendly place.

Only issue we had at all was that I missed the unit number on my welcome message and we stood outside talking on an intercom with the complex’s maintenance/security who made no effort to help us. Once I went through every line of the messages with the host and found it he let us right in. It seemed like forever but it was only like a 20 minute diversion. The property was excellent and affordable. The host had waters and sodas on a honor system which was very appreciated because we got in late. The pool was large and very clean. We used it often with the kids. I loved the rooftop patio. I had my morning coffee each morning sitting and staring off at volcano de agua. Restaurants and shopping all within a ten minute walk and a grocery store just a few blocks away. Rooms were clean and comfortable with windows you could throw wide open enjoy the cool air while you slept. The showers had great pressure and plenty of hot water. The kitchen was good sized! Stocked with cooking vessels, complimentary spices and plenty of plates and bowls. The price was right, and I will always check this place any time I am coming back to Antigua. It was first class for my family and I left very pleased.

We love our location because is close enough to everything but also far enough for quiet evenings and relaxing. The 24 hr gated doorman, keeps our community safe as well. You can also use services like taxis or uber, the most common way of transportation is the moto taxi, known as "Tuc-tuc" which you can get almost in every corner for very little cost.
