This was a great spot in Chetek for the summer. Walkable to town and a nice dock near the property to sit on the lake. Most importantly the property was just what we needed for our stay and Nola was a great host.

Very clean cottage, comfortable beds and great amenities. Property was extremely well kept. Highly recommend this property for any type of romantic getaways.

The cabin was extremely clean, all photos were current, description was accurate, well located for fishing and/or shopping. Host was very personable and accommodating. Can recommend without hesitation.

Nola was an exceptional host! She was incredibly sweet and helpful. She gave us recommendations for things to do and places to eat in town and in cities nearby. We had an amazing time at the cottage, it was perfect for a summer getaway. The location was amazing, close to downtown and near the water for easy boat access at the dock. This was a wonderful place to stay!

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The cottage was exactly what we were looking for. The host was very nice, helpful, and friendly. There was great swimming just a short boat drive away. Many great resorts near by with great food and drinks. The cottage was clean and stocked with the essentials. Would highly recommend.

Great little cabin!!

If you’re looking for a very nice quiet cabin this is the place. Had everything we needed, owners were very accommodating. Was able to dock our boat and was close to the cabin. Loved it!!

We booked this cabin last minute, and at the time, it was the only one available on Lake Chetek for our dates. At first, we were a little hesitant about what we were going to have to settle for, but it turned out to be an absolute gem—and one I’m already planning to book again!The owners were incredibly welcoming and more than happy to share their beautiful property with us. The cabin was quiet, peaceful, and very private, even though it’s located right in town. The kids had an absolute blast fishing right off the dock and caught fish all week long!We’ve stayed at quite a few different resorts over the years, and this place definitely ranks at the top of our list. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly getaway on Lake Chetek. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Nola was a wonderful host. The cottage is smaller than I expected but comfortable and cozy, nicely decorated and has very comfortable beds. It was also conveniently located for walks to downtown for shopping and to partake in some award-winning ice cream. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Family Vacation

Cute little cottage on owners property. Had a wonderful stay, had everything we needed. Nola and Cal were wonderful. Cute little garden and flower beds were adorable. Nice seating outside. We had the best time.

Place was very clean. Beds were comfy. Even had flowers from her garden in the kitchen. Only down falls tiny bathroom, thought it was in a private area. ( but noone bothered us and neighborhood was quite.)Owner was very nice

Great week of remote work and family visits

The property was just as listed. Nola and Cal were excellent hosts and even brought me flashlights and dessert when the power went out!!! Chetek is a wonderful community with plenty of great restaurants and friendly people. I look forward to my next visit and would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a cabin that is rustic and in a great location.

Very cute little cottage located right on the hosts property. Set in right with other homes around it but a very quiet neighborhood. Had everything we needed. Hist were very friendly and very prompt if we needed anything. Beautiful yard with beautiful flowers. We were able to use their dock for fishing and relaxing which we walked through their yard to get to the dock. Location was great for hiking a few miles away. Overall nice place to stay.

Cozy Cottage

When we arrived, we happened to be welcomed by Nola. She gave us helpful information about the property & let us go on our way. We were delighted by cottage's charm & instantly felt like we were *on vacation*! Our girls said it looked to be a cottage straight out of a story book! The outdoor space offered blooming flowers, beautiful garden beds and very welcoming outdoor space to relax.The bedrooms were very clean and suitable for a family of 4. The master bed was like sleeping on a firm cloud loved it! The bathroom is tiny but.... again, even that seemed to add a little something special to memories that were made. Location couldn't have been better, right on the water & 2 minutes walk from town. We would love to rent again. Thank you.

This cabin was so cute! Such a fun get away- Everything was clean and tidy- the bed was so comfortable!! Our host Cal and Nola were very nice and welcoming. This is a perfect spot to be close to the downtown area- to get ice cream and fresh bakery everyday! Essential for vacation. Make sure to visit the 208 Tavern!
