The spacious main floor features a cozy living area and a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, including a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and electric range/oven. The master and second bedroom are located on the main level, offering serene lake views and a relaxing retreat. The finished basement with the bunkroom and third bedroom has a big den for lounging. For added convenience, there's a washer and dryer in the home, ensuring you have everything you need for an extended stay.

Step outside onto the screened porch to enjoy the natural surroundings. Grill and picnic on the spacious deck. Make your way to the boathouse with a sundeck roof, perfect for catching some sun or watching the boats go by. Make our boathouse your own by connecting to the built-in bluetooth speakers or by taking the kayaks out on the water (adult life-jackets provided). We've been to many VRBO's at different locations over the years with a variety of not great experiences. This one is very nice. We will definitely come back. Really enjoyed our experience and the property. Very clean, plenty of room for the family and dogs. Thank you!

The house was absolutely gorgeous and had everything we needed! Extra points for being so dog friendly, that was a tremendous help. We had a tiny issue with the freezer and the owners responded immediately! You definitely get your cardio in going to and from the dock but we loved this property and would absolutely return. Thank you again!

Beautiful house with a beautiful view. There were a couple of small issues with the cleaning, but otherwise we really enjoyed the house and the lake being so close.

We had a great time here. The house was great with everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed the kayaks and floating mat a lot. My 5 year old caught her first fish off the dock. The host was great - very fast response to our enquiries. The house needed some more cleaning. There was hair on 2 of the shower drains and small spills in the fridge, and a few other minor issues.Loved the fenced in yard for our pupster.I highly recommend staying here.

It was perfect! We loved that the yard was fenced, made it very easy and comfortable for our family and dogs. The hosts were also so kind to us and very accommodating when one of us accidentally left a work phone in the house at check-out. Thank you for a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this Lake Gaston house. The property was exactly as described — very clean, well equipped, and thoughtfully prepared for guests. The kitchen had everything we needed and the lake view is beautiful. We especially appreciated how dog friendly the home was. It’s not always easy to find a place that truly welcomes pets, and this property is stocked with pet items as well. It was clear a lot of care went into making guests feel comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a dog friendly lakefront getaway.

Great stay with extended family

We had a fantastic stay in this dog friendly home. The owners definitely recognizes that your pup is part of the family and designed their home to include them! There are many steps to the water but landings are added to make it very manageable.

Perfect long weekend getaway…highly recommend!

We loved everything about the house and property. The views of the lake were stunning and the fenced in yard and trees made for a private feel. The property managers made us feel very welcomed and answered all of our questions during our stay. We highly recommend this home for any family or small group looking to get away for a few days or even a couple of weeks!

Highly recommend!

We stayed at this beautiful lakefront home this past weekend and absolutely loved it! Jen was one of the best hosts I’ve ever dealt with and this was also one of the best stays I’ve experienced while traveling with our family. The property was super clean and had everything we needed. The view, boathouse and yard were also added bonuses. Will definitely come back in the future and couldn’t recommend more!

Memorial Day weekend 2025

My family likes to get together for this holiday, and this house was perfect for us. Check-in was super easy. There was plenty of rooms and beds for everyone. The screened in porch was really nice with a great view of the lake. All communications were answered promptly and the place was very clean. Would definitely come back again!

Was everything it advertised. We will stay here again. The only complaint is that cards do not slide well on the table, but we were able to combat that by simply throwing a blanket over it. We had an awesome time. We were not expecting the neighbors dog to welcome us at 10pm, but it is super friendly and had that puppy energy to welcome us in. My daughter wanted to take it home.

Pet friendly and even have dog bowls which is convenient and large fenced back yard a plus. Great view and easy to dock at with a nice top deck to drink morning drink of choice on the water and a table and chairs underneath if too hot. Host quick to respond and very accommodating which was appreciated since it was sooo hot and we had dogs. Would definitely rent again.

If you have furry friends, this is the property for you! Perfectly secure areas for them so you know they’re safe. We love that there were dog towels and dog bowls ready for them. An absolutely lovely property all the way around.

The screened porch is our happy place. We kick back in the many seats and sip our morning coffee or enjoy an afternoon nap. The view to the lake is great, but at sunset, it is extra special!

We have 5 big dogs between us and we still don't feel crowded in the house. We also made sure to fence in the large back yard so they could roam freely. Any outside door of the house will lead to a fenced area. No need to worry about children or dogs slipping through the door and wondering into the road. Also, down by the dock there is another gate. No child or animal will accidentally make their way to the water. We want you to feel confident that your family is safe!
