This is a wonderful place to stay to do a lot of hiking at north cascades and absolutely loved the river running behind the property

Nature lovers paradise! We enjoyed our stay at the river front, off grid cabin minutes from Cascade National Park. The host provided clear instructions and answered all our questions.

Incredible property! The river is so calming and sitting outside watching nature unfold is incredible. The community is really cool, and it was fun to walk around and see all the different properties. There is a park/beach that was also wonderful to sit by and be close to the river without a steep bank. Overall, one of the best short-term rentals I’ve stayed in the North Cascades! Host had great directions, very clean, the window in the shower was a chefs kiss, and very close to the park and hikes!

This is an amazing property and we feel so lucky to have spent time there. The cabin is charming and right on the Cascade River which was the BEST PART. Very quiet and soothing to stay here. It is "off grid", but we had no issues with water, eletricity or wi-fi. The outdoor deck by the river is perfect for morning coffee and afternoon lounging. It was easy to get in and out of the River Park where this is located. Overall, great experience - would 100% recommend.

Beautiful property close to the trails we wished to visit in Northern Cascades NP. Very comfortable with stunning views of the Cascade River, even from the shower.

The cabin was exceptionally nice! Very clean, inviting and relaxing! The location right on the river was definitely an added bonus! Check-in was very smooth and Nancy was very responsive when I had questions. I had a very enjoyable stay and look forward to staying again in the future. 10 outta 5 star rating!

Peaceful vacation getaway

Your cabin by the river was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I can honestly say we had the best night sleep ever while listening to the river outside. We made sure to watch our power usage, but it was quite nice for me and my family to live a simple and peaceful life for a few days. The location to the park was great and we would definitely stay here again.

Nancy was a wonderful host. She provided all of the pertinent details necessary to make our check in and stay smooth. We loved that we could get the basics in town (gas, ice, etc...) and the drive to the park entrance was close by.

Beautiful property. Stayed for our visit to N. Cascades National Park. Easy to access with instructions from the host. The river is so beautiful, just note the river is quite inaccessible and very fast moving, but so peaceful to fall asleep to at night. Quite spacious cabin with everything we needed.

We had an amazing stay at this comfortable and convenient home. The location is perfect. The view of the river is so beautiful. Everything was clean and well stocked. A fabulous find. 10.Easy check-in in good communication with the property owner.

North Cascades visit

The property is in a great location to get to the national park and just as advertised. The kitchen is fully stocked and the bathroom is recently renovated. One thing you need to be aware is the 2nd bedroom is not private as it is open to the family room. We didn't mind but others might. The river right outside the bedrooms/deck is beautiful. We enjoyed our stay.

Cozy off grid place

This little house was beyond our expectations. The Kitchen had everything you would need. I enjoyed the puzzles games and movies in the family room. Sitting on the back deck and watching the cascade river flow by was amazing! We even saw two people kayak down the river. It was easy to contact the owners. We enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic home near North Cascades National Park

This property has an incredible location, just above the Cascade River (which you can see and hear from the bedrooms). It's about a 10-minute drive to the restaurants in Marblemount and 30 to the National Park visitor center in Newhalem. The cabin is clean, elegant, and well equipped. The check-in procedure had several steps, but the hosts communicated this clearly (with pictures!) and everything went smoothly.This place is definitely off grid; when we stayed, we needed to boil water, and we were advised that internet and power are sometimes unreliable. That said, there was plenty of equipment in the kitchen for boiling and storing water, and we didn't have any issues with the internet or power during our stay! Note that one of the bedrooms has a door that closes, but the other one is separated from the open-plan living area only by a step and a 3-foot wall.Kids will love this cabin (ours did!), but be cautious whenever any young children are outdoors, because it is so close to a fast-moving river.

Great place to base a family hiking vacation from. Super up-to-date, clean and comfortable. 4 people, not couples had more than enough space and enjoyed cocktails overlooking the river and dinners we made together in a well equipped and modern kitchen following long days of hiking in the park. The host was easy to deal with and very direct with her instructions. Be sure to bring all your groceries with you as the trade off for being in such a beautiful secluded place is having a long drive to get any real groceries. I would rate this property very highly.

This was a great location for exploring North Cascades National Park. It was a very relaxing location. With the windows open you could hear the rushing river. Great sleep. Had everything you needed. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean.

Incredible location to explore North Cascades! The cabin is super cute, very clean, with the best stocked kitchen I have seen in a VRBO. It had everything we needed to be able to cook whatever we wanted! And the deck overlooking the river was magical! Loved sitting out there with our morning coffees! We set up our hammocks on some trees by the river so that was awesome too! It also has a great fire pit but we didn’t use it due to the fire ban at the time of our visit. We will definitely be going back!!

The cabin was wonderful. We especially enjoyed dinner on the back deck next to the river (as well as the view of the river from the shower!). The cabin was very clean, with a very nice and fully stocked kitchen. The check-in process was easy, with clear instructions sent ahead of time. We really loved the proximity to excellent hiking in the North Cascades. We would definitely stay here again.
