The inside of the peoperty was clean but the outside needed some work. A little bit of work as place could be exceptional. The value for the area was good. Chose because they were dog friendly.

Blinds on door were broken so anyone could see in. Door would not lock when we left the area. Internet for the television is horrible. We come to Herman 8 times a year and we would not recommend this location.

Hi Chad, we replaced the blinds with thicker curtains. This space does not have WiFi access per our property description. The door locks by hitting the Schlage button and turning the lock CW. Please text owners if you have problems in the future

The ad lists a grill in the amenities but there are no utensils for it. The hot tub is shared with the house next door.

The mildew/musty smell hits you as soon as you walk in; they really need a dehumidifier. The sheets did not fit the bed and kept coming off. No closet and no hooks for anything-coats, hangers, robes etc Sound did not work on TV

We stayed in the converted garage space and while it has some really nice touches, there are a few things to be aware of before booking. The biggest issue was the strong mold and mildew smell (some old gas iil smells from its previous stint as a garage); if you have allergies or sensitivities, this might not be the best fit.Saturday night was rough once the wind picked up; acorns from the nearby tree hit the metal roof all night long, making it really hard to sleep or relax. The lack of central heat was another concern when temps dropped into the 30s. The fireplace didn’t function properly, so the only source of heat was a small space heater in the bathroom — surprisingly, it kept things reasonably warm, but it’s not ideal for colder nights.Now for the positives: the bed was incredibly comfortable, the shower was huge (though the water pressure was a bit low), and the backyard hot tub was absolutely fantastic. The patio furniture made for a nice spot to unwind, and the “his and hers” sinks were a great touch. The host was very responsive and kind. There’s a Keurig and coffee provided, though no creamer or sweetener (so bring your own), but there’s a bakery just a few blocks away if you want to grab breakfast.Overall, we loved some parts of the space but would recommend it more for mild-weather stays and for guests who aren’t sensitive to strong odors or loud noise.

The property does not look like the picture on VRBO. There are several rental properties on site and it was confusing which one was it. Mainly because it no longer looks like the picture on the website. They have built a carport on. There was an SUV parked in the driveway. By the time we circled the block they had left. There is construction going on in the back unit and the gutted sink and cabinets are laying in the yard along with other junk. The air conditioner did not work. Only response was did we turn the thermostat down. Couldn't get a response. Finally called VRBO. They got our money back and helped us find a place for the night. We got up the next day and left. Hermann MO was a complete and total disappointment. The rental and the town was not what we expected after a long drive.

It was a perfect place to put up family members for a wedding weekend!! Very clean lots o’ space and a well stocked kitchen to make meals!!! Definitely recommend!!! Easy to walk anywhere in Hermann!!!
