Loved this place, so beautiful being by the lake. We loved all the wildlife we saw ducks squirrels, and a rabbit. The sunrise was amazing. Location was perfect was close to everything we wanted to go to would love to come back!

Great location. Loved the large yard. Enjoyed riding the bikes, and taking the paddle boat and kayaks out.

The piece of land was incredible and so family friendly! There was even games/ toys for children of all ages. The house was equipped with everything we needed including life jackets, paddle boats, a dock, COFFEE haha. Lots of small touches that were a huge plus for our family. We enjoyed using the campfire, swimming in the lake, and using the beautiful Blackstone grill that was provided as well. 10 out of 10. Lots of memories were made!

Lake Manitou is such a special spot, and it's wonderful to hear you got to soak it all in — the campfire, the swim in the lake, and firing up the Blackstone. Stay at Lake Manitou

Great property out on a point in the lake, 3 piers!One we could dock our boat at, one by a fire pit,& one off the deck for swimming. Fished off all the docks!Planning on staying again next season!

I can't say enough how wonderful this place is. The best part was the placement on the lake - on a peninsula where you're surrounded on 3 sides with the lake. Amazing and multiple views. At one point, we had members of our family launching kayaks off one dock, fishing off another, and accepting a pontoon rental at the third pier. The grounds were clean and well maintained, too. The house itself was perfect for our crew of 7. All the amenities you'd want and need plus more. And also so clean. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, toys, amenities and details we wouldn't have even thought of. Can't wait to go back. 5 stars

We’re thrilled that the peninsula setting on Lake Manitou delivered exactly the experience we hope every family gets — kayaks off one dock, fishing off another, and the pontoon pulling up at the third, all at once. Cozy and relaxing

Great property for a weekend stay. We loved the lot, the house was quaint, cozy and clean. Well furnished with everything we needed, well labeled and everything had its place! The property manager was very responsive and you can tell that they take pride in their home. The location on the lake is great, we enjoyed fishing and using the water sport amenities!

Perfect spot for a relaxing weekend at the lake. Old time feel with all the modern needs. The largest yard in the neighborhood, there is plenty of room for the kids to roam. The wildlife and fire pit area were a key part of the experience. Paddle boat and Kyacks were perfect for the cove it’s in. Would love to come back in the heat of the summer and explore more of the lake. We made memories on our trip you simply don’t get at a hotel. This place has everything you need already thought of. I am very happy my family had this opportunity due to this beautiful property.

Super Lake location

Beautiful views over the lake in the morning in this retro feel lakeside property. Experienced the full effects of all types of Indiana weather and very grateful to our host for providing basement access!The cottage has everything you need for a very pleasant day. Highly recommended.

Wonderful location. Super refreshing. Warm, clean and cozy. All stay-related amenities available and easily accessible. Many options and equipment available onsite for outdoor activities - bikes, boat, fire-pit, a wonderful and big deck, lots of tree-covered ground to walk around, and of course the lake.The only thing that wasn’t very clear from the photos is that the center queen bedroom is not enclosed with a privacy door - a minor surprise for us, but overall excellent and relaxing stay.

Lovely spot, excellent get-away

This lake house is cozy, spotless and well maintained. The house has everything you need: new appliances, comfortable furnishings and everything works. The property is beautiful--we loved watching the water and identifying all of the birds we spotted in the trees, on the water and on the peninsula (the goslings were adorable and comical to observe). The outdoor space is very livable--and when it rained, we were happy indoors. We were 3 adult friends on an artist retreat, and this was perfect for us. We each had enough space to spread out and do our own thing, and there was ample common space when we came together to talk, cook and eat together. We also enjoyed the kayaks, the lake is lovely!

Definitely being water shoes as the walk in is rocky. Loved everything about house and property. Only grill is a blackstone but it was perfect for all our meals. We discovered blackstone grilled corn on the cob and will make it at home!! The peninsula is so nice, it gives you so much privacy, but the neighbors are very friendly.
