Welcome to this cozy bunkhouse. Nestled in the serene canyon and sandstone cliffs in Molt, Montana. This charming 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom space offers a perfect blend of comfort and adventure with all the amenities you may need for a relaxing stay. For equestrians, the property offers nightly horse boarding making this a rare gem for those who travel with their horses. Pack your bags and prepare to enjoy the homey charm and natural beauty of the Sheltered Nook. Make this your home base for Montana adventure. For road trippers Red Lodge is only an hour away. Red Lodge is known as the gateway to Yellowstone National Park through the scenic Beartooth Highway. Billings Logan International airport is 30 minutes away. This property is located on a cattle ranch, so we offer for sale 100% grass fed beef that guest may purchase to make their meals; availability may be limited. During the summer months guest are welcomed to harvest fresh vegetables from the garden to use in meal preparation during their stay. Availability may be limited depending on the time of year. Come as guest, leave as family!

Can’t say enough great things! The place was beautiful and I loved all the animals that lived on the property coming up to say hi. The hosts were very nice, and the space is incredibly thoughtful and had everything I needed.

Wonderful stay. We wanted a place to land before traveling Beartooth Highway. Such a relaxing and well taken care of VRBO. I have to say, my favorite part may have been snuggles from Kayah, Oit, and Carter, the property pets. Beautiful rock bluff surroundings and nature. 10/10 would recommend. Thanks for having us.

Beautiful location and cozy bunkhouse. It was great getting greeted by the dogs and the cat every time you pull in to the property or come outside. It reminded us of home everytime. Hosts were great and extremely friendly. They made sure we had everything we needed. Also their beef which is available for purchase, if there is any left, is excellent. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to get out of town and experience pure relaxation. There were deer up on the cliff side and turkeys roosting in the tree every night. Great wildlife viewing anytime of the day. We would rate this 10/10 every time.

We were traveling north to see the mountains and history. The location was secluded, pretty and quiet. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was very relaxing. Easy access to major restaurants, too.

Our stay here surpassed our hopes for a peaceful evening making this quick trip absolutely magical! Even better than described!! Easy 10/10We are traveling with 2 small boys 7 & 8. While this is a cozy place for couples with a retreat feel! Kevin & Tana’s hospitality is top notch! They ensured we were completely comfortable. Also allowing us wonder their well loved and manicured property! Lastly inviting us to enjoy their animals! The CREW Carter, Kiah & Oti. Were the boys absolute best memory of this trip! Thank you!

Staying at the sheltered nook bunk n’ board definitely added to the overall enjoyment of our first trip to Montana! We really wanted to feel the essence of being immersed in the countryside, and this location provided just that. The ranch pets were a lovely free addition to our stay, as they happily greeted us every morning and provided their sweet company with our coffee. The property is tucked back and offers serenity and privacy with spectacular views of the cliffs. The property was clean, the bed was comfortable and all our basic necessities were provided for. The Landlords are wonderful, hospitable people and made us feel right at home, treating us as family. We enjoyed our stay, and truly fell in love with Montana while there. I would highly recommend the bunk n’ board and would stay there again a million times over!
