Clean, comfortable and close to everything Pierpont has to offer. A great bed with cozy linens and pillows, shades to keep the house cool and fans to blow the ocean air around. Already looking forward to our next visit.

We really enjoyed our stay. This house had all the things one could ask for. Plenty of bath towels, beach towels, fully stocked kitchen, spacious backyard, post-beach outside shower etc.etc. The house is cozy, comfortable and convenient to the beach and nearby restaurants. Communication with the host was excellent!

Wonderful place. The kitchen gadgets and pots and pans were - well like we have at home. It's obvious the owner stays here and like a good functioning kitchen. Thank you!The beach access! The backyard with fire pit! All wonderful. We'll definitely be back.

The house and location were both excellent. Just me and my wife, so the one bedroom one bath worked out great.

Owner was very responsive. Kitchen fully stocked. Relaxation spaces indoor and outdoor were quite ample and enjoyable. Walk to beach and Duke’s beach grill. Drove 10 minutes to Ventura harbor with shops? Restaurant and National Park visitor center. Very convenient to boat trips to whale watch or land on Channel Islands National Park

The property is clean. The kitchen is well stocked. The garage has two beach chairs, an umbrella, and a boogie board with no leash. The backyard is beautiful with lots of places to rinse sand off. The location is close to the beach on a quiet street. The hot water heater is a bit small and can only sustain short showers. There is no A/C so be prepared. It would be nice if a few more windows had screens so they could be left open all night.

Sweet Cottage

Only a short block from the beach was perfect for us. Very comfortable house in a very quiet neighborhood. The best stocked rental property we have seen.

The cottage was well-appointed and very comfortable. The back yard was an extra gift. The location was optimal.The McAtees were gracious and kind. Their assistance was much appreciated.

Work/Get away trip

Super super nice place. Close to the water. Was working in Santa Barbara so the drive was super easy and beautiful. Definitely recommend a stay at this spot. Very cozy and the surrounding area is very nice. Ventura is a cool spot.

My stay was everything I could have hoped for in a beach getaway.

I had always dreamed of staying on the beach in a beach cottage. This charming Nantucket met each and every expectation from its tasteful decor to its relaxing private backyard. I hope to return again soon.

Home away from home

My husband and I had a great time in Ventura and enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The house has everything we needed to feel comfy and welcome. Kim was a great host and answered all of our questions immediately. We definitely would love to stay again at this cottage.
