This was our 4th year staying in Watersound west and we love the neighborhood, the pool, and the private beach. Heron Cottage is perfectly located and the house is beautiful and well maintained. Our family of 9 were very comfortable and hope to come back next year!

Spacious house, immaculate and well decorated. The location is in a quiet gated community, minutes from shopping and restaurants. Short walk to the gulf and community pool. Will rent again!

Great home backing up to small quiet neighborhood lake. Gorgeous view from large screened in porch. Beautiful modern and spacious kitchen sits between a generous den (which leads to porch) and the dining / eating table with views to the front of the property. We enjoyed our spectacular master bedroom and spa bathroom on the main level while our adult children and grandchildren used the 3 bedrooms upstairs. We couldn't have enjoyed it more. We were pleasantly surprised at the wonderful home designed so well to make our stay enjoyable. And, the plus feature was the pool located just a few houses down the street, which made our trip a very special experience with our young grandchildren.

Everything was great. Note most all the gate codes sent on check in day were out of date or wrong.

Family vacation

This property and the whole neighborhood are beautiful. It is very quiet and relaxing. Pool is great and beach is nice. Since it is next to a State park, no crowds on the beach at all. The home is gorgeous and there was plenty of room for everyone. There were a few hiccups at check in but they were resolved quickly. We came in late at night and there was no gate code given in the instructions but a quick phone call and the problem was resolved. Overall a great vacation in a great location!

The house was very nice and well furnished. We very much enjoyed our stay there and its location to the community pool and beach access. Our only complaint was with the rental agency. We asked about certain small appliances in the kitchen and their response was not always accurate. Also we were only given one key to the house (we were a group of 8). There was also a key pad to open a garage door but the code didn’t work. It was 4 days before a garage repairman showed up to reset the garage door. To be clear our communication was with the rental agency and not the Owner. Again, we very much enjoyed our stay at this property but our experience could have been improved if we had some direct communication with the Owner.
