30A great house

Loved the rooms and plenty of dishes, sand equipment, bikes. The pool we heated was comfortable. The room above the garage was an added bonus. Only negative was the frying pans which everything stuck to. Bring your own if they don’t upgrade them! The gated community is fantastic with large pool, clubhouse, snack shop and beach access.

Watersound is the best!

We love Watersound. We try to stay here and love the quiet neighborhood. This house was great and accommodated everyone. There were 4 bikes to use, and wagons in the garage for the beach. Everything was great. The only recommendation I would have is to allow usage of the golf cart. There was one in the garage but renters were not allowed to use. The walk was 5-10 minutes and would have made it much easier for those older family members to get to the beach. Other homes have allowed golf cart usage, but this is the first one that did not.

Annual Watersound vaca!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second trip to this house, the layout is great, dipping pool is a great addition (it’s small but perfect for after return from beach) kitchen is well equipped (we cook during our stays) and holds large gatherings. The carriage house has all comforts of home and is perfect for couple or older kids that want more privacy. This trip our drier was broken when we arrived and not fixed during trip (our trip was 7 days and we packed for a few days knowing we could wash clothes). We didn’t get any additional clean towels to cover broken drier so that was hard to manage. The house is a walk to beach and it doesn’t offer golf cart so if you have young kids with “stuff” elderly parents that can’t walk long distance or you bring coolers, you’ll get your exercise! We were able to check in before posted time on Monday arrival which was also a great surprise. Overall this house is excellent and we’d recommend - especially if a golf cart could be added! A bonus, we left something behind at checkout and when we called, property management company found item and shipped back!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we arrived there was sand in all the bedrooms, the dryer did not work for 4 days, the microwave did not work, the entire house was not very clean. We had to call and text the property team several times and although they did respond it took forever to fix the problem. Apparently the problem was a repeat issue with the dryer and the dryer was "under warranty", not what you want to hear on a vacation, we just wanted it to work.

Amazing property

We loved our stay at this house. It was perfect for our family as we had grandparents who needed to stay on the first floor, another set of grandparents who loved the apartment above the garage and two sets of twins and their parents who enjoyed the second floor bedrooms, balconies, and living area. The house is clean and beautifully decorated. We loved having access to both the private and neighborhood pool. And Watersound is safe for younger kids on bicycles with a stunning beach and dune walkover. Highly recommend! (The only suggestion I’d make to the property managers is to update the info about bike and beach chair rentals. We had some trouble with children’s bikes from Vacayzen and it would be helpful to have the name of the umbrella and beach chair company that has the Watersound contract ahead of time. Right now it’s La Dolce Vita.)

Enjoyed our stay in Watersound!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We would have liked to have a golf cart (or be able to rent one) for beach access as we had a handicap guest staying with us. We also had a loose knob on the downstairs bedroom faucet and no hot water in upstairs bunk shower. We were told maintenance would come but they never did. Overall we loved the property. Beautiful furnishings, hardwood floors, fully stocked kitchen. Loved the neighborhood and everyone was very friendly.

Wonderful Watersound Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've stayed on 30A many times but had never used Exclusive 30A for our rental. Our expectations were exceeded. It was the cleanest and best-kept home we've probably stayed in. There was more than enough space for our family of 8, the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and a great quiet location. The tiny pool was an excellent way to cool off after the beach and before cleaning up for dinner. I really liked the app and text communication from Exclusive 30A. They made it all very easy and seamless. I would absolutely rent from them again. We did miss having a golf cart with this house but it wasn't a deal breaker. The pool and beach are just a 2-minute bike ride, or a slightly longer walk, from the home.

Cozy and comfortable

We had never stayed in Water Sound before this stay. We love The community/neighborhood so much my wife said she found her retirement community. This house was amazing and if the owners ever want to sale give us a call.

BEST STAY ON 30A

Can not say enough about this property and the property management staff! House met all of our expectations and even more so. So roomy, beautiful decor, large pantry, ice machine, extra fridge space, - I could go on and on. Management was extremely attentive to my questions before, during and after our stay. Highly recommend!

Buyer Beware

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented different homes on 30A for the past 25 years. The house as described. However, two weeks after we got home, I received an email from Exclusive 30a saying they had successfully charged mu bank account $294 to clean towels that were dirty and duvet covers that had stains. All are white. The check out instructions specifically state that you are not to clean the linens. The contract states that if the house cleaning service find the home is excessively dirty they will charge you for a deep clean. Since we have received 5 star ratings from VRBO we knew we have never left a home in a dirty state. The pictures they sent show normal towel use and small stains on duvets. A pen mark that i noticed upon arrival was the only thing i recognizedZ i should have reported that. But how in the world can you feel comfortable renting a place like this? It is absolutey ridiculous. I have opened a case with the BBB.

Wonderful Week in Watersound

Our favorite 30A community and 31 Keel Court did not disappoint! A quick walk to The Hub and Bruno's Pizza for easy carryout. The heated pool was a hit with the kids and also the parents while the kids were down for naps! The carriage house above the garage that's accessed by a separate stairway is perfect for relatives/friends that want additional space/privacy. The property was clean and well decorated. More than enough space for 4 adults and 2 kids. Look forward to returning again soon.

Great Stay - Lots of Room - Great Value

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our entire family of 12 enjoyed this home and carriage house ALOT. Close to beach - close to community pool. Home was spotless. Home is well equipped for cooking. White bedding throughout the home. Plenty of towels. Everything worked great except for the shower in the Carriage House --- they could get extreme cold or extreme hot water - nothing in-between - A part was needed so it did not get bathing for the family of 4 had to take place in the main house. We stayed in February --- normally a quiet time for us (this was our 3rd time in this home). However with 30A developing -- we did notice that the traffic had increased a lot. Beaches at night still sparse with people - but that too had increased from our last visits. Security gate personnel were always nice and prompt. We always feel safe when we stay in this community. Home has some beach toys and a wagon to get items to the beach. The golf cart is NOT available to guests, which would have been nice for the two older family members -- but we managed. As far as the home/community there isn't anything we would change. WE loved our visit and created great memories from it.
