Overall, we were very pleased with this property and even though this was not a newer home, it was very well maintained and a good value. The house was clean, the property owners were excellent in communicating, and nothing was lacking for a comfortable stay. I might suggest a review with VRBO's map view of the property. It gives the impression that the location is in the heart of Sackets Harbor and within walking distance to restaurants and the harbor. In reality, the property is located in very nice neighborhood just on the outskirts of Sackets Harbor, and most people would take a vehicle to reach the downtown area. I do not believe this was an intentional misrepresentation, just a computer generalization of the location.

Lovely home very close to Sacketts Harbor downtown area. We stayed for the marathon and it was very convenient. Quiet neighborhood. Has some issues with check in and hosts were very responsive. The welcome snack basket was a nice touch! Good amount of dishware and cookware. Pictures and descriptions of house are accurate, except there is a chicken coop in the back corner of the yard - including roosters. We did not need an alarm to get up for the race.

Perfect stay in Sackets Harbor

This house is absolutely perfect for a family wanting a getaway in the quaint town of Sackets Harbor. Upon arrival, the house was perfectly clean and the AC was on. The wonderful hosts left a basket of snacks that my teens loved. The beds very comfortable, the linens were fresh and clean. And best of all we had a chance to meet our wonderful host in person. Paul is the nicest man- we got to spend some time chatting and he even let us feed his chickens treats, which we all loved! It was an amazing week at this beautiful house in Sackets Harbor. We hope to visit again next year!

Cute & Cozy in Sackets Harbor....

This 3 bedroom & 2 bath ranch house is located in a cute neighborhood just outside the charming coastal town of Sackets Harbor. It was conveniently located to get to Sackets Harbor Restaurants & Coffee shop, but also Watertown & Thousand Island attractions & restaurants. The owners left us a welcome snack basket, nice touch. We enjoyed sitting outside for morning coffee & evening cocktails on either the front patio or back deck. It was cute, comfy & cozy!
