VRBO has done a huge disservice to any past and future guest who books this property! There aren’t enough characters for me to accurately and honestly review this property. Suffice to say, I am seeking a 100% refund. The photos of this home, particularly the back yard, are an artist’s rendering. The host confirmed twice, once in March and again in April that the reno was completed. The new pool, spa and outdoor kitchen are not only not new but the outdoor kitchen is old, in disrepair and doesn’t even have a power supply. The furniture is old, dirty, broken and some pieces pictured don’t even exist. When I arrived for check in this past Thursday, the host was in the home cleaning. Yes, she cleans this five bedroom four bath house herself. My husband and I left and returned over an hour later (an hour after check in) and the host was still there and even though I questioned the cleanliness, she said she was finished. I pointed out that the pool was dirty and she said the pool guy comes on Wednesday. I did a walk through of the house and as a result of what I saw, I spent two hours cleaning before the rest of my family arrived. I contacted the host and told her I was unhappy with the filthy conditions and her response was “ I took pictures and it meets VRBO cleaning standards”. I contacted VRBO and instead of addressing my photos and complaints, the host claimed I violated her house rules. I wish I could post all of the over 100 pics I have but I can only post 8. Wish me luck!
