Great view, great house

My friend and I had a great time staying at the house. Beautiful view, close to great attractions, and the kitchen was well appointed.

We stayed at Little River while in the area for a June wedding. Lovely cottage with great views and outdoor spaces. Would stay again.

Big love for Little River

We loved staying at Little River and will keep it in mind should we return to the region again! We loved the vintage vibe with all the modern conveniences! The glorious scenery on the river was easily viewed from bedrooms and a spacious sitting room downstairs. We loved relaxing on the dock watching all the wildlife and dining outdoors, surrounded by lovely landscaped stone pathways. There was also a beautiful table for indoor dining and a complete kitchen. Our hosts took exceptional care of us! We can't wait to return!

We had a wonderful vacation and enjoyed the house, its amenities, and location! The host was very responsive.The bottom floor has a spacious kitchen and dining room that overlooks Little River. At high tide, it's a stunning view. The kitchen is sufficiently appointed for light meals. There are 3 coffee makers (pod, drip, and an espresso machine). There's also an excellent library on the stairwell. If you forget your book, you will be able to find something worth reading. The dock is wonderful to sit on and simply take in the river. There are two paddleboards that provide an excellent opportunity to explore the river, particularly the marsh areas up and down the river. We also enjoyed swimming off the dock, or off of the paddleboards. The river was calm. At high tide, the river was over 8 feet high at the dock. At low tide, the birds walked over the mud. Quite a sight! We didn't use the outdoor grill or dining area but appreciated the indoor A/C :)Our daughter loved the ground-floor bedroom. It has an sweeping view of the river. We slept on the top floor, and found the floors a bit creaky. The shower was awesome! Towels were plentiful.The location is delightfully quiet. It's in a peaceful neighborhood only 2 miles from downtown. Important Note:The stairs are narrow from the kitchen floor to the 1st floor, so families with small children, frail elderly or individuals with difficulty with stairs should consider appropriateness for their situation.
