Amazing house!! Plenty of space for our group, the house was clean and beautiful and Caroline was communicative and very helpful. Highly recommend Ambleside!

The house is incredible! We loved our stay here. It was the perfect location to explore Boothbay. They had ALL needed amenities, even firewood. The beds were super comfortable and the house is very spacious. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a very short but sweet stay at Ambleside, just an overnight, but found it to be beautiful, spotless, and wonderfully appointed for a stay of any length. The Welcome Basket was a lovely - and much appreciated - surprise! We definitely recommend it to anyone staying in the area!

The property is beautiful and within walking distance to the main town area. The house has plenty of space for my family of 10 and the host went above and beyond with amenities.

The place is beautiful. Lots of nooks and crannies to escape by yourself and not be on top of others. The kitchen was fully stocked and completely renovated. We enjoyed the coffee/wine bar. We used the fire pit as well. I would say the only take aways is that the stairs were tough to navigate for my 88 year old mom and the house is situated right off a busy road. Finally, great that you can walk to the footpath and be in the heart of the town. Would recommend to others!!!

Beautiful home; fully stocked with numerous place to. hang out and relax. The kitchen is fabulously appointed and all bedrooms and bathrooms were excellent. This is a "must" if you are in Boothbay Harbor!

Great weekend in August

Caroline was pleasure to work with upon our arrival. The home is spacious, warm and filled with many amenities. Our entire family loved the entire inside and the fire pit outside was very nice.Definitely a nice home to rent !

Excellent stay all around. The property is freshly renovated and decorated and is just beautiful. Everything was spotlessly clean and in great condition when we arrived and we appreciated the well equipped kitchen for cooking at the house. The screened in porch was a great feature which allowed us to enjoy being outside without being eaten by mosquitos. Additionally, the location is perfect, outside of downtown just enough to be quiet but just a short walk from Lobsterman's Wharf (.4 miles) and a few other restaurants and the footbridge to the downtown area (.8 miles). I would definitely book this property again.

This house was perfect for our family of 6 adults and three children. My husband and I choose to sleep downstairs in a room with a pull out love seat. We had a door to the screened in porch and a private bath. The bed was very small but it was perfect for us and allowed all our kids and grand kids to have fun up stairs. We enjoyed the fire pit every night and the kitchen was perfect for kids with a sit up counter. The window seat in the living room was also perfect for reading with our 3 granddaughters. Great walking to the town. There was a short walk without sidewalks but we just carried the 3 year old until the sidewalk started. We never really cooked except to heat crab cakes but the kitchen had everything you would need to cook. The coffee bar was in the best location because it allowed the adults to not worry about hot coffee spilling. I would totally recommended this house and the area.

We enjoyed our stay at Ambleside. The spacious home was well appointed, clean, and the location was great. We were able to explore Boothbay with an easy walk to town via the footbridge or short drive. Cooking in one night was wonderful in the large kitchen, dining table for 10 and good cookware. The screened porch was a good gathering spot too.
