We immediately had our property inspected by a professional exterminator. The exterminator informed us that he was not able to find any evidence of infestation or live bed bugs in the home. We still chose to have the calendar blocked and had the property professionally treated to ensure that the home is free of any pests. We hope that the prompt response to you and your wife and the measures taken help make up for the inconvenience you experienced. Thank you for the feedback. We're sorry the hot tub wasn't ready when you arrived; our service provider misread the schedule, and once we heard from you, they went out right away to get it cleaned. We also looked into the grill as soon as you mentioned a leak and tried to get a repair scheduled, offering to cover the parts in the meantime, and a follow-up check after checkout found no leak present. As for the toilet, we contacted a plumber and it has been fixed. We appreciate you letting us know because we take these details seriously as we work to keep the home in great shape for future guests.

Kathy, while we appreciate and welcome constructive feedback, we don't believe this rating is warranted. The Bear Hill Cabin has a check-in time of after 4 p.m., and your party arrived at 3 p.m. Because of this, the cleaners were put under a time crunch so that they could promptly allow you access to the property. The cleaners were also able to confirm that the sheets were clean, and replaced on all the beds. The towels were all washed, and dried, and a second load was put in the dryer to ensure you would have extra towels for your stay. The cabin is also exactly as pictured online so that travelers can make their own decisions regarding whether this is the right home for them before booking. As is evidenced by the many great reviews, this owner is accustomed to providing 5-star experiences, and we feel confident future travelers will have exceptional stays. Best, the Evolve Team
